Some say that Russell was the target and Natalie actually switched it around. No one knows for sure except FoaFoa. Just because Russell says something doesn't mean it's true. We've already seen that he's not a very consistent source in his gloating. Russell had no clue about the Erik vote. Don't try and argue he did, if he did he wouldn't have played his HII. Shambo and Russell both wanted 'Luara' out. Russell's one good move here was talking to John. But, ultimately, it was a pretty common consensus that Laura had to go. Wait, his early game methods worked? I never exactly saw where burning socks and emptying bottles of water out helped. Was it before or after FoaFoa lost almost every challenge? If he had not played the HII at that time think about it a little and you will find Russell and Natalie will not make the F3. That's what makes the Kelly vote even more surprising in that the other tribe had no idea he had a HII whereas the HII he played in the previous tribal council everyone knew about and I know they wouldn't of targeted Russ had he not played it for the Erik vote. Common consensus? It was tied 5-5 so hardly everyone thought she had to go. Jaison, Natalie and Mick just did what Russell want and Shambo just hated Laura who happened to be Russell's biggest threat. Russell (and perhaps John) were the only people who wanted her out for strategic reasons. If you rewatch the earlier episodes he clearly states why he did the burning etc. It actually makes alot of sense too. Off-Topic: Are you actually from and living in NZ?

One of the FFs had come up to Russ and told them to vote out Erik. Russ thought Galu was lying and so he played the idol. His voting confessional confirmed this. Natalie saving him? Never heard anything about that at least not that early in the game. Now I know you will just say "it was the edit" but all we saw was Russell manuvering to get them ousted from what I recall...so I guess that will remain a mystery at best. As for the Erik vote you bring up a good point...I have no logical answer why he played the HII except what he said himself that he wasn't sure. And that's the heart of the matter...he wasn't sure...that's a far cry from having no clue. It was the plan to get rid of Erik but he didn't know if the it would go through or not. You agree with me about Laura so I don't need to defend it. Now back to the early game sabotaging etc. You're right Foa Foa didn't win a bunch of challanges. That had nothing to do with why he did what he did. He did it to have everyone at each other's throats and whoever survived the carnage would trust him implicitly and that they did. Which is a major reason why the Foa Foa four completely dismantled Galu. Because when Russell S. dropped out of the game that once unified tribe became fractious and over confident which is a deadly combo. Meanwhile, Foa Foa were solid.

Do you think Nat,Jaison or Mick, would have caused choas between the galu's. They basically quit, at the merge. First of he went to laura, nothing happend, he then went to monica nothing happend. Then he goes to john, bingo, he shows him the idol, he smartly tells him you have to break up the girl alliance of laura,monica and kelly. So John is on board, then he uses shambo's hatred against laura for a vote. However laura wins immunity. The galu tribe then target russell, however john tells erik that one of the girls have to go. Erik then tells mick,jaison and nat to vote for monica. Then jaison says he needs to go, then nat tells the girls. All this would have not happend if it wasnt for russell.

He merely fucked up by showing everyone and their mothers the idol, then trying to make deals with all of them, assuming they'd never cross-reference, and nearly killing Foa's chances of getting anywhere. Nothing much of note.

In one season? Russell went to 15 tribal councils, including the final tribal. Stephenie went to 16 tribal councils, including final tribal, AND while she was still on the jury. Obviously more people have gone to more if you count in ASS/ 1/2ASS. But, in one particular season, no.
