As for your philosophy, I understand it, but to me, watching the show making all sorts of qualifications about your opinions takes all the fun out of things. And I still question whether you can watch the show as religiously as you do without getting a little wrapped up in the seeming reality that's portrayed on it. :)
of course I get a little wrapped up in the characters and the stories, but not to the extent that a lot of die hard bach fans do. To me it's a trainwreck that needs to be watched and taken tongue in cheek. so many folks take this show so seriously and personally, I guess that's where I know I don't go.
