Again, this is just anti-Obamites inflating things said by supporters to make them look foolish. He is, however, a decent public speaker (whether you agree with his politics or not). I agree that Palin can deliver a decent speech* - but the only ones I've seen her deliver had either included the use of a teleprompter, or the use of oft-repeated talking points (I have no problem with that, mind you). The president makes a shit-ton of speeches throughout the year, and they cover a diversity of subjects which he must speak to knowledgeably and with eloquence. Unless they've got a photographic memory, NO president has the time to memorize so many speeches (the dude is busy with other things). * - By "decent", I mean she's good at delivering the type of speech those who flock to her enjoy. I mean, he read the teleprompter alright, but he could do it in such a way that you weren't aware of it, and he could transition the muthafuck from script to ad-lib and back while feeling your pain, getting the interns wet, and Hillary pissed.
