And since it was supposed to occur at a double TC which should be followed by the merge, Parvati is still there and goes into the merge with Ozzy, Amanda, Erik, Cirie, Natalie, and Alexis all in her corner in some way or another. I can totally agree with this; I don't think it's that simple and we'll probably never know. I don't believe the theorists that say that Parvati was done with Penner in the game, but I also believe his evacuation benefited her the most. Because let's get real, James was never winning the game.

I just don't believe it. There's no point to be made here since Fairplay is going to say something and I'm not going to believe it. But for whatever reasons, Fairplay quit and that's within the game and completely legitimate. Yes it was lucky for Parvati but it shouldn't ill-legitimize (made up word?) her win in any way, since players have quit or messed up and saved previous winners before. For instance, Amber and Lex. It was lucky for Amber but it doesn't make her any less of a winner because Lex fucked up.

That is definitely your right; but you have to admit, there's no reason he'd bring the ring, okay it with production, etc, if he was planning on quitting. And yes, Fairplay's quit is part of the game. But like I said, someone who's made it to day 37, a ruthless player, quitting in the first three days? That's crazy lucky. And in combination with the fact that Jonathan's injury benefited her the most and the final 2 switch, she's the luckiest winner ever, IMO.

Also, Amber's situation is also different from what I'm talking about. Firstly, it was bad luck of her to get into that situation to begin with. But she overcame the swap on her own merits. It's not like Jerri quit on day three or it's not like she played the entire game under false pretenses.

Not arguing that. For strategic purposes, Parvati was not voted out at the first TC. That happens at every TC of every season. Someone goes, and someone doesn't. Parvati didn't and it wasn't as if Fairplay laid down his torch. He was voted out just like every other first boot of the game.

And those strategic reasons had nothing to do with Parvati. She didn't even know she was going home.

I talked about Alexis and Parvati on Airai earlier, as an argument as to why she could've voted for her over Cirie. I only used the Alexis's brother thing because CR used it first. The point of saying that was that she didn't just vote for Parvati because she didn't like Amanda. She loved Amanda, and still voted for Parvati over her, which is a point as to why she could've also voted for her over Cirie, which is not the case with Erik and his vote for Amanda, making it more likely that Alexis would've voted for Cirie than it would be that Erik would've voted for Amanda.

You are retarded. I was making it clear that Alexis would not vote for Parvati over Cirie.

That's exactly what you're doing (and with the same fanboy motivations) so I don't see the harm. You've been debating what ifs for a few pages now.

I don't understand why it has to be so hostile. You say the difference between Parvati and Cirie is that Parvati was lucky enough to overcome her inferior gameplay and that Cirie was a better player who just wasn't as lucky, and others disagree using their own rationales and perspectives. Arguing what ifs is always going to be useless but it can be a fun exercise provided no one gets too bent out of shape about it.

Sorry, I'm a bit testy with said poster because he doesn't even understand what people post and then spouts off random shit. And there's a difference between plausible what if's and very random what if's based on the notion that "anything is possible".


I'm trying not debating what ifs anyway ... I am trying to steer away from that actually, and state what would have happened 99% of the time. To me, a last minute switch to a final 2 after everyone has finished their game is totally unfair because it changes the parameters they were playing by. Cirie, Amanda, and Parvati would all have played different games with at least some warning of a final 2. One could argue to expect the unexpected, but that's hard to say when we know it was an intended final 3.

Fact: Amanda, Parvati, and Cirie played for a final three game. Fact, Parvati's game for a final 3 was not effective enough to win. Amanda or Cirie would have won in a final three situation, which was switched at the 11th hour, which was too late for any of the players to readjust their strategies. A final three with Amanda/Parvati is lucrative for Cirie because they'd all make the finals; obviously, a final two is not so lucrative.

And lol @ the fanboyism accusation. You keep acting like I'm saying Cirie was a surefire win when I keep correcting you and saying it was Amanda or Cirie.

Not only that, but I'm trying to keep the arguments rational and fact based. You're spouting off that Cirie was going home if Fairplay hadn't quit. Yeah, with what majority? I've already offered proof that Yau-Man, Ami, Eliza, and Fairplay would not go along with it. Add Cirie in the mix, and that's already a majority.
