I had to wake up for something this morning and I will have things to do for the next 2 weekends (Friend's Parties and Wedding) I can't use a proxy so can you just eliminate me? (Either you save Zodiark or have us both eliminated)

Woah, there are more M/M teams that F/F teams left. This is like the antithesis of Sucks virtual TARs.

Boo at Dapa quitting ! Now there's no way I'll survive next leg (Dapa having to do the speedbump and losing time was my only hope).

It's pretty surprising that we already are a third of this race finished!
Can I ask if you guys will be able to rank the first five legs according to your preference? (both players and viewers) and give your opinions about it? Tasks, Location wise etc? I'll be giving an extra 3 USD bonus to all teams doing this task for the next leg. SOME STATISTICS:

(Just like other Moo's games, the pace is going increasingly upward and not downhill =/)
Ranking: 1. Leg 5 - EPIC. Especially with those train rides but others got too ripped off =(. Also, the leg is cultural but there aren't that much opportunities to catch up. 2. Leg 4 - EPIC too. The intersection and many ways to catch up is just damn good <3, also those route info tasks <3 (Sablon square) and very much cultural too. 3. Leg 2 - GREAT. Tho, with the clusterfuck that is the roadblock, it's good. (Camels not being used <////3) 4. Leg 3 - GOOD. It might have been lots of better but I guess this leg just not stand out. 5. Leg 1 - GOOD. But then again, not much ways to catch ups. Even if it's good for African wildlife. COMMENTS: Please have the ask locals be on every leg and just doesn't disappear / appear on some legs =/ |

In order:
1) Leg 5 - The train drama was an interesting alternative to flights (though if the next location is what I suspect it is, we won't be having nearly as big a clusterfuck about it). I liked the subtle differences in Detour, and the RB was an easy enough flash game. Funnily enough, I was originally planning on having a leg in Bled, with riding around the lake as the FF and the "carry your partner to the church" as a RB in line with Bled tradition; the church at the top of the hill would've been the pit stop. But oh wells. 2) Leg 3 - Granted, I'm a fan of strategy porn, and this had it in spades, even if I didn't completely understand the RB, and it was a fairly quick-paced leg (were it not for me leaving for work, I probably would've gotten first after a ~90 minute leg. Detours were okay, though the obvious difference in difficulty was a bit of a let down (why did people pick Wrestling, anyway?) 3) Leg 2 - A good effort, and one which would've easily made for a great opening leg IMO. The salt task I vacillate on; sometimes I think it was superfluous, especially since we could've just gotten on charters from Kenya to Timbuktu, but right now I found it a good way to produce team interaction. RB was fun, even though you could kind of wing it after seeing other people's successful attempts (simply changing a numeral doesn't change the distance traveled enough to fall outside of the allowed window most times) 4) Leg 4 - The only reason this is low is because of the Intersection, and really that's because I've had bad experiences with them *glares at Kat*. The Detour was fine, if...kind of the same task, really. The RB could've been really awesome, but was just okay, I think because the only criteria used was colors, rather than being aesthetically pleasing[/NinaGarcia]. 5) Leg 1 - In my Number Theory class (which is so real, so fierce *fans self*) the first thing we talked about (after a review on induction) was that, in any finite set (such as, say, the natural numbers), there has to be a 'least' element in that set; Leg 1 happens to be that for me. It's not that it wasn't well structured (and in fact, if it was intentionally made without a RB, then it's even better), and it's not that the tasks were awful (because they weren't), it's just...not as appealing as the other four so far (and tbf, the first leg tends to be the hardest to do, since you have to get used to the players' styles of playing, Yuku, etc). |

Mooyou wrote:Why do you say that ? You're gonna rig the race for me <3 ???GauchGauch wrote:Why? Have you no trust on Moo? It's just that even if we get 500 USD at the beginning of the leg, I will still be the poorest racer. And I'll probably be the one to "do a Hayden" too Since I need money, here's my ranking : 1) Leg 2 - The only leg where I did well. I liked the salt task and the fact that we had to share a van with another team. It was like an intersection without being stressful. Roadblock was ok and the drama at the end of the leg was <3 (though you probably didn't like it). Mali was a good location. 2) Leg 3 - I loved it too, and it's only ranked lower than Leg 2 because I sucked at the detour. The roadblock was ok and the detour was good too. Teaching was a great task and it gave one of my favorite moment of this leg : Farrah and Ashley interacting with a black kid 3) Leg 1 - I don't know why bryan and OMG put it in last place, I really liked it. The Detour tasks were great. I actually think it was the best detour so far (since they were both originals and fun). The elephant task was unnecessary but I randomly liked it because I liked to name an elephant "Silver in the Wind". The opening task felt like real TAR and Kenya was a good opening location. 4) Leg 5 - I liked the train rides even though I made a bad choice. Detour was great. Alternative music is awesome and I have to say I listened to some of those slovenian bands so at least this leg made me discover something. Roadblock was ok. Too bad I misread the instruction since I would have been 7th. 5) Leg 4 - On one hand the roadblock was good and simple. On the other hand, I didn't really like the detour. Intersection sucks, as always, and everything that happened to me in this leg (post-bumping, my internet going down...) didn't help this leg's case although it's not your fault. It's too bad because Belgium was a good location. It is so underrated. ETA : I forgot to add, I liked all the legs except the one ranked at 5th.
