Still, I hate it when this show gets ugly, and it's been on an affirmative ugly streak lately.
Yet at the end, there's Holland Taylor, offering context as to barfing on baby.

Agreeance -- this band of shows are the ones they were taping just after the Charlie Christmas Colorado contretemps.

Piranhahaha wrote: Loved that. It was - especially for this show - a very touching and sincere moment. But they stayed true to their roots by still being funny and disgusting. Evelyn's delivery on that last line was a thing of beauty. |

This was in the newspaper yesterday:
"Two and a Half Men" faces uncertain future. The article goes on to say that Charlie Sheen was charged Monday with felony menacing and two lesser counts. Sheen is out on bail and didn't enter a plea. If convicted, he could face three years behind bars. What does this mean for the show? Nothing good. Insiders say the producers can likely rejigger the remainder of this season's production schedule, but the long-term situation is much more uncertain. The situation is especially complex because the network and Warner Bros. have banked heavily on the series. "Men" is expensive to make, in large part because of Sheen's high salary. I think they could focus more on some of the other actors. Evelyn is hilarious. So is Berta. Ryan Stiles is always good for a laugh, too. |

I find it hard to see how you can do the show without Charlie, at least not without killing it The O.C. style. Evelyn, Berta, Judith, Herb are all good as supporting characters, not as main characters with their own storylines. It's all about Charlie and Alan.

It probably would kill it, but it will probably be dead anyway. It probably would have run its course in another year or two anyway.

Uh-oh. Charlie Sheen's contretemps shut down filming.
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/tvblog/2010/02/two-and-a-half-men-shut-down-w.html?hpid=topnews Mr. Lorre seems to have a good sense of humor about the situation, which is a good sign. I dunno. A Berta-centric ep might be just the trick right about now. Flashbacks, backstory, younger Charlie Harper references? |

They could pull it off short term if they had to complete episodes til the end of the season β but unless Charlie is back in September theyβd be better off just cancelling the show. And bring back Rose, more Berta and Evelyn would rock, but the kid is annoying. I donβt want this show to be about Alan and Judith.

Love the "old, gay queens", but I'd rather not see Chelsea again.

Looks like Charlie is out of rehab.
Charlie Sheen will check out of rehab and return to taping his CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men on March 19, his rep confirmed today. |

Nuts just when Chelsea goes away, back she comes.
The old gay guys are starting to become funny though, which I didn't expect. You'd think if the boys wanted to try their hands at stalking, they'd go find Rose. BTW -- April Bowlby, aka Kandi, showed up briefly on the CSI ep with Rascall Flatts as the owner of www.rascallflattspsychobitch.com -- totally in Kandi character. She still looks great, too. |

Where do I know black gay guy from - I'm thinking Good Times - is that right?

Yes, that's John Amos. He was also the adult Kunta Kinte.
I really dislike Chelsea, zero charisma, fake boobs, and completely unfunny. Just a drag to the show. But I LOVED Kandi. I wish April were in more things (and out of some others). |

I was thinking JA would need to be in his 70s, right?

Amos gay?
We're talking Jimmie Walker's show, right? Dynamite?!! |

Amos isn't gay (that I know of) just his character.

Charlie's story line was weak. Alan's story line had several laugh out loud moments.

Yeah but I loved the denouement of who it was that had put her tongue in his "mouth."
Nice little bedroom farce of an ep. I barely recognized Jake when he first appeared with the new haircut. OK so where're they going with Chelsea? This is now the 2nd time she's come back right? How many more times can they do this? Again: any ep with Tricia H in it is a good ep. |

You guys aren't seeing the whole picture when it comes to Chelsea. This whole breakup thing is all part of the storyline. This series will end with Charlie & Chelsea getting married.
