Wow, I like Cuddy as much or more than the next guy, but this episode is boring beyond belief. She looks great, but who cares.

I'm glad the show isn't centered on Cuddy all the time, what a boring bitch. Looked like she was sleepwalking thru the friggin episode. This was one of the worst shows in this series.

Makes me wonder how good an actress she is. All that crap getting dumped on her and her face was utterly frozen during the whole episode. They could have had her just go ballistic at someone, or throw things, or toss a glass of wine in the CEO's face. The ol' hidden microphone in the daisy trick was good, but there was so much crap going on that the result should have been better.
I guess the spinoff "Lisa Cuddy: Hospital Administrator" is being tossed. Not enough car chases, evidently. |

Seems like I'm in the minority, but I kinda liked it. I think she was supposed to have that unemotional demeanour to her; a combination of keeping a professional air and numbness from years and years of dealing with that kind of crap. I didn't like the little Lucas/House side bit. Last week he's House's new nemesis lecturing him on how horrible he is to Cuddy and this week they're hanging out at a rave/stakeout and putting bets down on L&C's sex life? (I wasn't surprised Lucas was a two minute man.)
As nasty as it sounded, I kinda wanted to see the boil man House was treating. |

SargeantShizzler wrote: I likde it as well. It highlighted how big a douche House is with all of his games and the repercussions on others, including Cuddy. I wouldn't put up with that crap, no matter how good he is because the rest of the staff will revolt. However, I wouldn't have pulled the stunt she did with the insurance company either. The board clearly gave her authority to accept some lower percentage, she would have covered her ass explaining the repercussions and she should have simply done her best and accepted what was on the table. If the insurer hadn't capitulated like they did, I would have fired her ass. As for the Lucas/House thing. I seeit as a "keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer" type of thing. |

I liked it a lot. I thought it was nice to see day in the life of Cuddy.

Ok, so her agent got her more lines last season, and her own show and central plotline this season. Can this be over yet? I don't watch the show to see the woman who says "No, well, ok" to House every week and what her life is like. I think the only character I'd miss if they left House would be Wilson. The rest are like the revolving set of interns on Bones: they're interesting, I enjoy watching them, but they're completely replaceable.

Even with Wilson, when they had the PI on the first time around and Wilson was gone, I didn't miss him as much as I thought I would.
I didn't care for this episode at all. While it obviously wasn't a "typical day" it just made me wonder why she was in that job in the first place. She looked and acted like she hates what she does. And why was the Board of Directors just sitting in that room waiting for her all day? And Gail? Why the hell was she sticking around after she made her threat? Who would do that? |

Isn't there a strong chance that Cuddy is just using Lucas? I just don't see them as a real couple.
And what was the big tussle in the hall about, anyway? Did I miss something there? |

Since it was a Cuddy episode we only saw bits and pieces of what was going on with House's case with no idea why they were happening. Though using Malaria as a diagnostic tool sounded kind of familiar. |

Maybe that scene was a hint that her job is something like running a kindergarten (hey, House is the biggest spoiled brat of all, so it makes sense)!
The sex thing with Lucas, I just think it's her way of hurting House, since he knows all about it. |

did anyone notice that Jame Wilson has gained a shitload of weight..if he were a female actress he'd have been fired for this. Boy is his face fat!
Can you imagine if 13 or Cuddy put on 30 pounds? |

i think the fight in the hall was about who was supposed to do the transplant surgery. Didn't Boreman say something about House wanting Chase to do it and that pissy bitch chief of surgeons wanted to do it so Cuddy had to schedule it for them?
As for Wilson gaining weight... meh. He can carry it without looking bad. |

What a crappy episode. I never liked Cuddy, so I wish they would stop giving her so much airtime.

I'm pretty sure the fight was for the use of the OR.. each was claiming priority. ....and House was encouraging the discord.

What would be cool is if the next episode was tied in, back to House's perspective, so we can see the Malaria treatment, why the docs are fighting, etc.

Strange, I hadn't even noticed Wilson being heavier! It does seem to me that his part is smaller these days, though.
Well, a few pounds won't hurt his looks, anyway! Wouldn't hurt if House packed on a few, himself! |

Just watched last weeks episode so I'm caught up for tonight-- boring, and I was surprised house didn't play into it as much as I thought he would.
