As someone who lives in Toronto lemme tell you the guy actually does a decent job in office. Not great mind you, but much better than the last douchebag who ran the TTC.
ALL the politicians go to the Gay Pride Parade here. It's political death if you don't go, so that is zero proof he is gay. He probably isn't. Toronto is a very gay-friendly city.

Example 1: A person isn't in a serious relationship, and is dating more than one person. They haven't given any indication to anyone they're dating that they're "in an exclusive relationship"; aka, they're "casually dating".
Example 2: Another person has been in what most adults would probably consider to be a "committed relationship" for a lengthy amount of time. Numerous signs indicating that it's what most would view as being an "exclusive relationship", particularly if it includes living together (...Giambrone had told her his live-in partner of many years...), are present, and visible to most who observe the two together as a couple on a regular basis. For Example 1 - yeah, there's no commitment, so those people can run around and date / screw whoever they like - that's fine. Are you seriously saying, though, that you don't see any difference between those two examples?  |
