Up around 6am...get a little cardio in. Shower, then dress, grab the paper and hit the streets. Usually at work right at 7:30am. I love working four miles from home! I feel very lucky.

I get up an hour before I leave the house. I have a coffee at the PC for a half hour to wake up fully.

I wake up at the last possible minute. Always have. The extra sleep is worth it.

2 hours before I'm supposed to be at work.
Damn, that sounds lame. I need to figure out a way to cut that down. |

When I work.. I don't have to be there until 11:30. Winston needs his hour walk every morning, so I'm up at around 9:30 every day.

Eagles F Frodo Mt Doom wrote: Yes, you can. Staying longer in the shower doesn't mean you get cleaner. Just rub soap everywhere, scrub thouroughly, rinse and get out. Unless you have tar stains to scrub off, I don't see why it's necessary to stay in the shower over 15 minutes. That's actually bad water conservation. In fact, I don't see what the big deal is to skip the morning shower if you showered right before going to bed. Unless you're having sex or jerking off, how dirty do you get while sleeping? I usually still smell the soap and shampoo on me when I get up in the morning. Just brush your teeth, put on some deodorant and you're good to go. People who smoke and/or drink coffee usually reek a million times more than people who skipped the morning shower anyways. The snooze button is mankind's worst invention. I don't see how it's satisfying to giveyourself a 10 extra minute of sleep. It's a tease more than anything. Once my alarm goes off, I'm up. And the computer in the morning is a big no-no for me. I'll get suckered in and won't wanna leave, probably resulting in being late. Kudos to people who can go for 10 minutes then jsut walk away.

My last real job started at 8 am and I had to wake up at 5:45 to guarantee I would get there on time.

If I know I'm going to be partying late, I'll get a shower the nite before, get fully dressed for and then go to bed. I can wake up at the last minute and run out if the house fully dressed and ready to go.

This older woman who used to work here must have only showered twice a week, because half the time, she reeked of unshowered muskiness. :vomit. She was also incredibly cheap. I'm sure she was raised by depression-era parents, and never got over that.
thank god she got canned. |

Most days, I set my alarm for 7:45. I hop out of bed quick to turn on my laptop, and head back to bed for 15 minutes. Breakfast/Shower, dress, and I'm out the door by 9:30 AM, in my seat by 10:30.
Thursdays and Fridays, I'm up at 6:15 AM, same drill. At work by 8:25-8:30, depending on the subway and whether anyone's killed themselves that day. I don't work until I have my morning caffeine those two days. |
