Does it really matter? Unless it pertains to their strategy (ie, Elisabeth/Rodger/Mike Skupin aligning over their shared Christianity and conservative beliefs) then it isn't relevant. If you're going to list all 301 Survivors based on what religion they adhere to then 90% will be "Christians" anyway.

Rafe, Todd and Tyson are all gay mormons.
Bob might be atheist. Physics teacher and he said on his winner scene hike in Gabon that "I'm not very spiritual"

Wanda was, at one point, a fundamentalist Christian -- a Preterist, to be exact. She attended Wheaton College, a conservative Christian university, and several theological essays she wrote can be viewed here. However, she said on her website that she and her first husband divorced after her religious beliefs changed. I don't know if she became an atheist, but that was rumored.

I may be mistaken, but I think I read somewhere on here that everyone from Chuay Gahn (minus Brian Heidik) was Christian (Helen, Jan, Clay, Ted, Ghandia, John, and Tanya). Also, Theresa Cooper from Survivor: Africa is Christian (per one of Laura's exit interviews). Oh yeah, and Boo and Dreamz are Christian (per Boo's final tribal council question to Dreamz), Sherea is a Christian and Peih-Gee is a Buddhist (per Leslie Nease).

I identified myself with a couple of survivors, but only because they followed the lazy catholic way that I follow. That is, bringing up God only in hard times and instances where you have no one else to resort to.

Judd asked Danni if she went to confession and Protestants don't have confession, Protestants ask for God's forgiveness directly through prayer. Rocky crossed himself before Edgardo pulled the buff to determine which camp the new tribe would go to. |
