Original Air Date: Feb 9, 2010 Also, I had a HORRIBLE dream that Melissa got voted off last night, so I hope it is not true. Granted, I also had a dream that I won the lottery, bought a beach house, and partied with the Jersey Shore kids, so its not like I can see the future or anything.

Even though I don't like Melissa, will be interesting to see her strategy this week considering how close the red team came to being below the yellow line. I'm not sure if that word was more before my time or if it was more Northern Michigan usage. I sure thought it was cute when I heard it, but it was not extensively used.

That word "bubbler" is even on T-shirts that show Milwaukee-ish things like Harley-Davidson, the beer breweries, Lake Michigan and such. Oh, I totally think Lance water loaded last week, and it was fun to watch him go from smug to pale white during weigh in as he and Melissa's score kept dropping closer and closer to the yellow line. Go, Miggy! I like her drive. I didn't know they were "unyoking" the teams this week. That will totally change the game for those riding on their partner's weight loss. In-te-rrrrrrr-esting. And how cute is Stephanie!? She was very sweet to encourage all the "new joggers" last week. I hope that she goes far.

Without immunity, the only possible reason to water load was if he assumed either Miggy wouldn't have lost any weight because of her surgery or that the pink team wouldn't lose enough weight to make up for the 2 lb. disadvantage. Either assumption would be really foolish so I think he just didn't lose that much weight.

And Melissa probably told him to do it. (She calls the shots.) When she was all, "I'm so disappointed in Lance," I thought "Bogus." I don't think she would criticize him in front of the cameras. She might chew him out behind the scenes, but I thought that she was deflecting suspicioun by saying that so quickly. But maybe I am just totally JADED about the Red Team (Melissa particularly) and I'm just totally willing to suspect the worst from her and to think that she's working some angle all of the time.

I appreciate the correction from both of you :) Whatever it's called, from what I understand, it's a machine they have to be hooked up to to blow air down their lungs because they're too fat to breathe normally and that, to me, is horrifying.

A buddy of mine uses a C-pap at night because of sleep apnea. (yes, he's a BIG guy.) He hates that thing, but his doctors hate that he nearly dies every time he falls asleep. No win situation, really.
