So no one loved Edward Scissorhands? No one enjoyed Sleepy Hollow? No one found Mars Attacks funny? I've never seen Ed Wood, but I hear it's pretty terrific.
The only Tim Burton film I REALLY did not like was Planet of the Apes. |

Sweeny Todd: CRAP Beetlejuice: I liked Edward Scissorhands: I liked Mars Attack: Ok in parts but annoying as a whole. The pattern I see is that maybe Tim Burton *used* to be good at some point. Then I guess the shtick got old. (for me at least) |

I don't get how ANYONE can dislike most of Sleepy Hollow. The first 90% is inarguably amazing <3. After the twist I can understand someone hating the final act but it was so ridic that it became even more epic <3.

I love Tim Burton. Beetlejuice is one of my all time favorite movies, I've seen it a bazillion times.
Much love to Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow, Charlie, Mars Attacks (so under-rated) as well. The Batmans, Edward Scissorhands and Sweeney Todd were enjoyable as well. Big Fish was some strange, maudlin exercise that he needed to get out of his system, and lord knows what the fuck he was thinking with Planet of the Apes which was beyond awful. I do have faith in Alice in Wonderland, it has Depp & Bonham-Carter for one (and the goddessa Anne Hathaway), but I was most happy about the casting of Alice. If you aren't familiar with Mia Wasikowska then be prepared because she is an amazing actress (see In Treatment). |

People act like Johnny Depp is so overdue for an Oscar. Aside from POTC, I feel like all of his performances are dull and lazy.

i liked the twist in sleepy hollow. never saw it coming. im so mad they KILLED my willy wonka and the chocolate factory with that lame as remake. growing up that was my fav movie ever, still is, and to see johnny depp butcher it left me in tears.
but um so when is alice in wonderland coming out? i saw some pictures and depp and helena whatever still look like their usual freak self lol.
