(As a quick sidenote: I'm gonna be focusing mainly on the heroes this season because they don't get enough love at Sucks compared to the villains.. and I like them more, even though I feel both sides have an equal chance at winning the game)

I actually kind of agree that I like the Heroes a lot more than I thought I would. As much as I like the idea of being a "villain" more than a "hero" and like the whole theme the villains have going, overall I feel like the villain tribe was assembled pretty terribly. There's certain ones I'm rooting for a ton and others who I think really bring down the tribe, whereas I think the Heroes tribe was picked perfectly.

I think there's a new "Micronesia alliance" of sorts between Amanda, Cirie and Candice, as seen in their quick strategy session. It seems that with the first vote, Amanda had the most influence, as Cirie asked her to make a decision and they went with it, against what Cirie and Candice both wanted (as seen in their voting confessionals.)

I think Amanda/Cirie/Candice are probably working together, and it makes the most sense for all three of them. I don't think the decision to vote out Sugar over Stephenie/Tom was Amanda's influence, though, I just think that they wouldn't have had the numbers to pull it off even if Amanda had wanted to. Colby wanted Sugar out, and I think even if they were able to pull off the numbers it would have caused a split in the tribe. They didn't need Sugar, I think it was just a tribe decision to take the simplest route and keep them united. I wouldn't give Amanda that much credit although the editors did seem to show her as the biggest proponent of keeping Stephenie/Tom which is interesting. It seemed like it clearly wasn't Amanda's decision but they chose to give her a big role in it.

But I completely agree with your assessment of the alliances. Amanda/Cirie and Tom/Stephenie seem to be the polar opposite pairs that will clash next time the Heroes got to Tribal, and everyone else is going to have to pick sides. JT would seem more firmly on Tom/Stephenie's side. James will side with Amanda. Candice seems more likely on Amanda/Cirie's side. So it would depend on Colby and Rupert. I think the women would be able to sweet-talk Rupert into siding with them better than an alpha-male alliance of Tom/JT could. No idea where Colby would fall.

I think Amanda's in a good spot only if the Cirie/Amanda side beats the Stephenie/Tom side at the next Hero TC. Cirie would be the initial target but Amanda could be in trouble after that.
