In Nicaragua they actually had to dig to find the idol, however with Russell in the game looking for idols without clues, they would never bury an idol underground because it would much too hard for Russell to find.

Maybe JP was trying to make it ez for his bromance object to win? Why else revert to the ez locations? Now that Kristina played her idol, won't they re"hide" it - [under Rob's pillow? ;-)]. During the night? Maybe JP hands it to the staff during TC and they run to camp? A camerman could carry it around where Russell or Rob are looking and have it drop out of his pocket! Ouch, sorry, too much caffeine.

It was almost the same thing at the other camp too, there just happened to be a pile of rocks that apparently came out of nowhere. You don't really have to be a genius to start searching in those locations.

Ralph did a real bad job selling that he just found it. It looked fake to me. It's unlikely that they told him where it was. Maybe he took a dump and found that hole there and thought that's a nice latrine. They don't film them dropping deuces so they had to do it again.

In real life, that shit just doesn't happen. If it did, we'd all be finding a $50 bill under every overturned rock. It's still good TV though, producer manipulation and all.
