That being said, BR really should have gotten Phillip off first , because even though he is awesome entertainment, Phillip is a meltdown waiting to happen.

That's the whole problem. Rob was too worried about what Matt might do after the merge that he wasn't of thinking about how to get there in the best position.

Yes but Rob has a greater understanding of human psychology, he knows Philip will be loyal for the time being, whereas Brenda just wanted to bring NaOnka to finals for an easier final 3, yet she overlooked NaOnka's flip flopping/inconsistent personality, who eventually turned on her, whereas Rob knows how to manage his fellow Alpha male Philip. Remember NaOnka was in a powerfull postion with a HII, wehreas Philip is in a vulnerable state dependent on his fellow alpha male to carry him a little further into the game since he is despised by the other. And also remember this whole plot of ousting Matt was perfectly timed, in order to flush Kristina's idol who felt targeted. Brilliant plan. Ometepe justs needs to gain a majority now before the merge happens, or else are left exposed to the anti-Russell alliance going on at Zapatera when they merge. C'mon we all know Russell and Parvati 2.0 over there are doomed.
