Then I got the idea to put them in the middle of the road and watch cars run over them. Am I proud? Not really. But I was, like, 9 or 10, so.

I want one, but understand that they can live a long time and get big enough to eat pinkie mice. So far I have avoided betraying my mammalian cousins to the reptile overlords. I would love them poison tree frogs, but that requires a vertical tank with misters and such.

Remove this ad I got my nephew one of those "grow your own tadpole" kits for christmas when he was 5. He kept it alive a long time, and the daily inspections of it's growth were a huge deal to him. Then he went on vacation with his mom and the house-sitter forgot to feed it.
