And while people revel in making fun of his deafness, I can't imagine what it must be like to experience something like this with my hearing intact; going through it without being able to hear or communicate with anyone else normally must be incredibly tough.

Watching the Indian men cheer him on and lift him after he finished the roadblock was really sweet, and to have the trotters hug him during the detour even though they were both still actively racing just shows you how much of an impact Luke had on the other racers. They felt sorry for him, it wasn't respect The challenge was really tough, but he never quit. And while people revel in making fun of his deafness, No we make fun of his ineptitude. CBS makes fun of his deafness by adding extra grunts and moans. Well he is attached to his mother at the hip, so he is not alone, and Vyxon can sign as well, so there were two people he could communicate with, he wasn't "alone" Going to miss Margie and Luke, and though it's sad they were eliminated, they walked away with as much grace, dignity and gratitude as anyone I've ever seen on the race before. By grace and dignity you mean sitting on the mat and sobbing?
