On top of that Ometepe is just Phillip and Rob and we're subjected to the same amazing Rob clue finding story every week which is just tiresome. Then of course the booting order has been the most giant pile of awful shit ever. This season is starting to majorly suck. It could've been better had it been 16 people without Robtard and Russtard.

I like the interaction RI but watching the duels themselves is boring. Basically it's been like this in each 42 minute episode - 8 minutes - Redemption Island Duel 8-10 minutes - Phillip/Rob/Russell screen time or people talking about Phillip/Rob/Russell 8 minutes - IC/RC 4 minutes - enjoying the reward/idol clue 8 minutes - Tribal Council That leaves 6-7 minutes for camp life/strategy/previously on Survivor/and next time on Survivor. I really want a director's cut of each episode where they put the secret scenes in of camp life and people not named Rob/Phillip giving confessionals. It's bound to get better at the merge when they cut out RI. You would have thought getting Russell out would help but Jeff still brings his name up all the time and any extra airtime just went to Rob/Phillip anyways.

Imagine there being a flashback to Shannon every Nicaragua episode, they're both as inconsequential ).

Next season, try not interjecting yourself and your bias into the game. We're sick of it.

I watched the dual, challenge, and the end of TC. The rest of the time I watched American Idol. I was avoiding Rob, the two brainless skanks, and Phil's ridiculously socially tone death behind. I don't know what game he's playing but it ain't Survivor. For that matter, what game are the girls and Grant playing? Has it occurred to any of them to look for the idol and clues, or that Rob may already have it? Are these people really this stupid or is this the way the season has been edited?

Posts: 3159 (03/31/11 10:54 AM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I'm sick and tired of the editors showing Russell in the "last time on Survivor" bit. At this point he is a non factor. His not being present there has no effect on camp life or the ability to compete/perform at challenges, or the way Zap has socialized with each other. Jeff et al has to stop acting like one person can make a huge difference even when they're not around to influence anyone. Last night was a great example of this. The storyline and change in atmosphere had nothing to do with Russell and everything to do with the conflict between Sarita and David, and what the tribe considered to be most important from that night onwards. The tribe had to decide who was most important to them and what was most important to them, and it's clear that they didn't anticipate a merge coming, otherwise they would have kept Sarita around to create a voting block amongst the rest of the tribe. It was either that or they feared David's return in the game. All of this had nothing to do with who left ten days earlier.
