An interesting fact is that Clay was scheduled to do an hour on Larry King Live the night he ended up singing "Fantasy" on idol. The LKL interview was canceled at the last minute and the rumor was that Idol ordered him to cancel Larry King and do a command performance on idol and that it was one of the reasons Clay proved conflict of interest and succeeded in firing Idol management in the lawsuit.

I liked Anthony's voice too. In fact, after his elimination I quit watching that season. Didn't even bother with the finale as I didn't much care for Carrie or Bo.

Remove this ad For me the most guilty pleasure performance I can think of, is between Megan Joy Corkrey's Rockin Robin or KKK's 8 Days A Week, country style, this was so audacious that it is one of the most hated performances ever. I appreciate the daringness and she didn't really suck IMO vocally...
