I'm guessing the new season will start with the story line having been advanced by a couple of years.

In that time, we will be told that Don's new marriage fell apart. (this will leave him free to pursue any new story line the producers want).

Also, the poster up thread is entirely correct about the kids. So, I suppose we will be told the kids are off in Switzerland in some private schools and we won't see them again.

That will also give the story line more freedom to take any new turns and twists.

The only real staple is Don Draper. Most everyone else is disposable if the actors want too much money or make any other kinds of demands wrt outside projects.

After all, you don't need ALL the old actors. You just need most of them. The only ones I really want to see are Elisabeth Moss (Peggy Olson), Vincent Kartheiser (Pete Campbell)

January Jones (Betty Draper) and Christina Hendricks (Joan Harris). I don't really care much about any of the others.

Although it will be a shame to lose the little kid who plays Don's daughter. I understand that she is almost a fully grown woman now and hot as hell. It would be real interesting to see how they handle that.

But I'm guessing she will just be gone for good cuz in two years, she will just be too old to play his daughter any more.

Of course, I could easily be wrong about any of that - and I probably am. But, what the Hell. It's all just conjecture.
