I'm not going to lose any sleep over it one way or the other. I am having a hard time aligning generosity with being a bad person. If she had the means to treat others to dinner, buy hotel rooms, take people on vacation, etc. then so be it. She was a kind hearted person who unselfishly gave of herself for the benefit of others.

I guess the thing that clued me in to an issue was how everyone said she was compassionate. Well I knew that wasn't totally true from reading her posts in the political threads, and of course the true measure of compassion is your attitude toward total strangers as opposed to the relative strangers you post with on a message board.
