There has to be another double boot episode where two more go to RI to join the two there already. The numbers are stacking up everywhere and there has to be a mass extinctive event to get from 101 Survivors to a F4 and F3 in the final episode.

The arena is awesome and I really thought the deuls would be more physical stuff like gladiator. I realize when you have a male vs female that makes it hard to do physical, but when you have male vs male or female vs female......it would have been awesome to have a one on one type event. I am also tired of the HII twist.To know that if someone finally gets the brains to blindside Rob only for him to have the Idol makes me sick. Why didn't they put Ralph's back in play? I really feel like they are doing everything to keep Rob in this game.

I don't think they expected it to happen, which really just makes it funny imo. I hope Matt wins just so they can realize maybe RI isn't such a good idea.

My only hope is by that point Rob will have turned on someone, and SOMEONE will smarten up and realize they need to get rid of him and use that person from RI, to create some drama. But if it's Matt or even someone likable like Mike, forget about it. If the person from RI gets voted out immediately, does that render the whole twist useless? I think yes. The whole point was to get redemption and revenge, and if someone like Matt fails to do that TWICE, it makes Redemption Island look turrible.

This is one of the reasons RI should not be used after the merge. The whole thing really sucks. Think about it, right now, the people at RI are not viewing tribal councils. They have no idea what is going on besides what is fed to them by other people voted out. Second, and this is the most damning thing about redemption island... The whole point of the game is to convince people to vote for you at FTC after you HAVE HAD A HAND IN VOTING THEM OFF!! If Matt, voted off twice, no strategic game, gets back in the game, and runs the table, it's a perfect bitter jury vote. He didn't play the game for one second, yet makes it to the finals. No one hates him, because he didn't have to back-stab, form an alliance, turn on people, or do anything strategically. He's a golden boy. A Matt win would violate the whole purpose of the final vote. He should get back in the game and be immediately voted off. No one in the game should want Matt in the F3.

Posts: 4 (04/22/11 12:21 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Yeah Matt winning this would be a disaster for the show...yes it would be a good story in the "Redemption" sense...but it would pretty much violate everything Survivor has stood for the previous 21 seasons. No strategy, no plotting, voted out twice because of being a bonehead (the first was excusable, second was not) and then a quick immunity run (if he re-enters at 5), for the win? That would suck. But now that I say the word redemption (which is their theme of the season obviously) and the more I think about Matt and his God story...the more I'm starting to worry that he might in fact win this thing.

Im convinced the only people in NYC or LA that watch survivor are ex castmates. not really, but you know what I mean. any show that gets alot of viewers (10-11 is still alot by current standards) means they have lemmings watching. see - AI, 2.5 men, all the versions of NCIS, criminal minds, etc
