According to the vidclip they want her to hit a 'high' (translation: a fourth above where she's singing now) note. Okay, it's obvo who the TCO is now; Miley Cyrus appears in her vidclip, popping in unannounced, of course.  Okay, I actually like her take on the first line, kinda slowed down and pointedly phrased.  After that, it's pretty much standard Lauren fare, replete with the twang, the countryfied accompanying instrumentation, and some sashaying.  She leaves the stage, and an obligatory male 'suitor' makes contact. She'll follow where she leads, apparently, as she seats herself between him and the guitarrist, long enough to give him the title line a couple of times for good measure. Pitch sounded unusually good throughout, at least to my ears.

She admits to having country-fied the song. Replete with intro violins and an uptempo Tammy Wynette vibe. I would expect to see this in a bad talent competition at a high school, but actually, vocally? It's not bad. If you can get past the holes in the jeans, it's actually a credible makeover. The fact that I'm feeling this ridiculous honky-tonk that sounds like it came out of a corner bar in Alpine, Texas? Hysterical! Okay, she lost a point for the iffy false-brato at the end when she should have just held a note for four beats.
