I always focused on how awful Jacob's screeching was but hearing him go right after/before? he was just as awful. Ugh. That said I'd still prefer to see him in the Top 2 with Haley.

Last year the tour ended up having to cancel shows due to poor sales and the ratings haven't improved this year so I'm guessing the tour isn't going to be that impressive. I want James to make it to F2 with Haley because I want the country bots gone. I think it'll be a hoot to watch the post show media regardless of whether James wins or comes in 2nd. It'll be a plethora of twitching and barking.

None of these bitches could ever touch him. He should have done the Badfinger one. Not many people know that one and it would have seemed like something different to the viewers. However i realize they are given less time than ever this year to pick their songs so there probably isn't time to search out a different version like Cook did. I hope James concentrates on his vocals next week more than the performance. Of course he won't if those useless judges don't start judging people that are not named Haley.

His generic deathmetal style is probably not going to sell very well and he's not likely to have a long career. He's also going to have a problem making the sort of CD he wants to with 19Evil's hack producers & songwriters. They will want him to sing pop, not his stuff. I suspect that a lot of the screaming we expect to hear will occur in studio battles, not on the CD itself. If he's smart he will try to contact some sympathetic people in the industry and try to line them up to work with him before recording starts. On the plus side, he won't have to worry about Kara DioGuardi trying to write for him. Has anybody tried to guess how well he will sell? James will of course fully expect the CD to go platinum, but I think Kris Allen-ish sales are far more likely.
