Did they fire all the old writing staff and replace them with a bunch of hacks? Not just one, but a double header of an Israeli/Moussad storyline that's been done to death already! Enough. Please! Just give me back some good old fashioned navy murders with crime scenes, jealous or jilted lovers and forensic evidence.

The TV legend plays the man who was the medical examiner before Ducky and he comes back to visit his old haunt. He goes along on their case and observes how things have changed since he has been there. It is a great look advancements of NCIS through the years. And make sure to watch the episode all the way through for a powerful ending that only Bob Newhart can deliver. Seriously have your tissues ready cause you are going to need them. Through my tears, I smell another Emmy for him!!

I always loved this show since it came out but really loved tonights episode with Bob Newhart. I can't remember him being so interesting as he was tonight but don't remember what he's been in since his show from the 70's. Glad I found a forum for likable/non-likable shows.

The driver had apparently blacked out while operating the vehicle. The van had just dropped off passengers Wednesday in Valencia, Calif., when the driver suffered an unspecified medical condition and the vehicle accelerated suddenly, striking the guard, said Sheriff's Sgt. Michael Konecny. The victim, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. CBS released a statement offering condolences to the victim's family and friends. "Everyone at the network, the studio and NCIS is devastated by the news. Our hearts grieve for his family and friends for this tragic loss," the statement said. It continued, "We are, of course, cooperating with the local authorities in Santa Clarita to help determine what caused this terrible accident. Production on the show has been suspended." The network says it stopped production on the show while investigators try to determine what caused the accident. "NCIS" is a drama about Naval criminal investigators and premiered in 2003. It is currently one of the top TV programs, according to Nielson ratings.

On last night's episode, at an horrific crime scene there's a dead naval officer lying on the ground with a gaping wound in his neck, covered in blood and Palmer is on his earphone laughing with his girlfriend? Like, WTF? Stop pretending this guy is a 16 year old. Enough. Stuff like that ruins the show for me. It would NEVER happen in the real world, he'd be out on his ass in a flash so why ruin such a top notch show? He's not a kid and the schtick shit is really old. Either get rid of the character or let it evolve.

I am way behind because I could not force myself to watch more than a few minutes at a time. I used to love this show but I am really starting to hate it. I think this show might should have ended a year or so ago.

Remove this ad Two characters really put me off this show: Could they take down Dinozzo down a peg? God he is such a smarmy asshole. The at minimum 3 movie references a episode is getting terribly forced, and I hate how he bullies EVERYONE now. His frattitude toward McGee was usually funny, but it just is getting old. I mean he's a 33 year old professional worker now, I think McGee deserves more respect. Also hate how he gets to have workplace punanni and keep his job. And that someone would actually lay the guy and risk their career is mind boggling. McGee should be able to play a funny prank on Dinozzo say every third episode just to keep things in check. Ziva should be way more hot. She's so beautiful in RL, but on NCIS she's like an annoying sister who gets the team in trouble with Mossad shit all the time. Have HER get into a steamy romantic relationship. Preferably with Abby! Also this has been in the show forever so I should almost not say anything, but the hero worship/cult-like fear for Gibbs is just weird-bordering on creepy this season. Typical convo: "What do you think of the crime? Was it homicide?" "It looks like foul play...look at the skull" "Shouldn't we run this through Gibbs first?" "Yes...dreamy look GIBBS... "Gibbs: Have something for me to take a look at?" "Everyone starts to shake a lot Y-Y-Yes Gibbs!!! See how the pipe went through the skull...?" Like wow. Kind of like Boston Rob this year.
