Are we? She WAS The Good Wife. She took him back. She helped him win the election. She was trying to make the marriage work. But the Kalinda transgression was just too much to bear. She might no longer be a 'Wife" in the future, but there was no denying how Good she is/was. If it's going to become nothing but The Good Doormat Wife, I'm outta here. ETA; that said, they did paint themselves in a corner with the series title.

I agree on the title thing and that's why I believe they'll always find a way to put Alicia and Peter back together. How I Met your Mother is doing just fine in season 6 without having introduced her, so maybe they can take a page from their book.

I've been waiting for Alicia to let Jackie have it since the pilot. Jackie's sanctimonious bullshit and idol worship of her son always got under my skin. And I hated that no one ever checked her for it. I was thrilled that the kids grew up a little when Jackie tried to emotionally manipulate them. The Kalinda/Alicia scenes broke my heart. Kudos to Archie and Juliana. They acted the shit out of their scenes together. I interpreted Kalinda's smile at the end as grinning and bearing it. She doesn't want to be there, but it's the best out of a shitty situation. When she learned she'd be working with Peter again she realized how much of an asshat he really is or at least saw that battle lines were being drawn. Next season is going to have a War of the Roses kind of theme. Kalinda instantly recognized that with her and Cary on Peter's team that Peter was trying to wound Alicia somehow so she sacrificed her pride and self-respect to stay so that wouldn't happen. I also think Kalinda is pushing for a Will/Alicia pairing so that Alicia can make a more informed decision. I don't know if she believes that Will is better for Alicia, but she definitely wants her to have options. I don't think she's pushing for them to be together to level the moral playing field at all. I don't think Cary was looking out for Kalinda when he left her in his office for that brief period. Kalinda is observant, but how the hell would Cary know that she could identify that lawyer from doodles? It was a nice catch/coincidence. Cary didn't set that up at all.

And, I found it odd that Peter hasn’t mentioned the kids or anything about visitation rights. Now that it has been established that Peter and Kalinda had a one night stand, I wonder what that has to do with the Leela and her ex-husband situation that Blake alluded to.

Somehow I doubt the kids have a formal visitation schedule with Peter worked out just yet. Plus, Jackie's meddling is more dramatic if she's doing it in Alicia own home. And Peter doesn't tell his mother anything so her not being privy to the intimate details of his separation wasn't odd to me. Kalinda sleeping with Peter has nothing to do with her ex-hubby situation at all. Kalinda slept with Peter because she wanted to and she was grateful for his help. Kalinda's drama with her ex will come into play next season. I'm sure it will be one of the reasons why Alicia and Kalinda repair their friendship.

I cared far more about the two women than the contrived cheating website story so obviously wedged in to have the Wife think about why people cheat though. I loved the stuff between her and Big's mom too. I think I am in, for now anyway.

I thought the writers were positioning Eli Gold to possibly help her out with a campaign. I am really looking forward to season 3 - looks like season 2 will end on a cliffhanger like season 1.

I think I am in, for now anyway. welcome LOLA - this show has been awesomeness since it's premiere.... even though the cases aren't always the main plot, I find they're very well done - even if the firm wins almost every case....
