Well I dont think Ralphs`words mean for sure that Matt is not the RI returnee, I think he was basing his answer on the question & that was him thinking the fact Matt was booted back to RI was punishement enough & was in a sense him losing cause he was voted out of the game again after winning his way back in.

I don't think Ralph's words are enough to determine anything definitively, because he clearly doesn't have a strong understanding of the English language. However, these comments definitely indicate that Matt is not the returnee. Do you really think that Ralph is saying that even though Matt eventually won on RI and was the sole returnee to the game, he "lost" because he was voted out at the merge -- and that was punishment enough?

I hate to say it but I think you're right. If this is the case the fucking editors should be promptly fired. WHY build up his story to have him not return?? Mike has barely been featured, Grant has been totally UTR the entire season, and Andrea was just whatever.

Matt does not return from RI. Ralph said he lost and stayed on the island. It's pretty clear. Ralph should be locked up before the finale. It's amazing the CBS publicist didn't tell him to STFU during the interview and ask the writer to edit out that paragraph.

It sure doesn't look like Matt makes it back from RI, but then again, it is Ralph and he's kind of stupid. Reality TV World: Do you think it's a little hypocritical for Matt and Mike to be quoting the Bible and presenting themselves as heroes and good Christians and talk about playing the game for God and giving up family visits for their fellow man but then also treat Andrea as badly as they did? Ralph Kiser: It's true. You know, God's for a reason... not to use for trying to win a million dollars. That's the way I looked at it. He can preach all he wants to and read the Bible all he wants to -- I've got nothing against that, but trying to shoot for a million dollars by bringing the Lord up and all that, that's bad lies. We'll have Matt do something for himself. He's a grown man and he should have made some decisions. It might have helped him out a little bit better. Reality TV World: Like I mentioned earlier, it really seemed like Matt was the main reason Zapatera was wiped out and Andrea wasn't even really involved in his decision to turn down your offer to flip on Rob Mariano and she didn't even learn about it until Matt told Rob... Ralph Kiser: It's true! And I told Matt I don't know what's the matter with him. I guess he thought the Lord was going to push him right on... and then he went and told Rob what was going on, that ain't playing no game. That was being way too honest! Reality TV World: But the episodes haven't shown Mike or yourself giving Matt a hard time or a cold shoulder or anything like that. Why was that? Did you guys not know that at the time or what was going on there? Ralph Kiser: Well, no. You know, Matt -- we did a little bit of talking, not a whole lot -- he's the one that cost me to spend my idol on Mike. I spent it way too early and if he at least listened to us a little bit, we could have -- I would have spent it all on him and save him. But the way he came up to us telling us how the game went, it was totally opposite. And that's what caused him to lose and what eventually made us all lose, because we ended up going one at a time all on Redemption Island. Having said that this is Ralph we're talking about people. His interviews have been some of the most confusing jumbled statements i've ever heard. Some of the things he said were borderline absurd. I DO think he definitely spoiled Rob never playing his idol in that podcast interview but once again it's Ralph. And reading that interview posted by the OP I think Ralph was just trying to say that Matt got screwed by not siding with the Zaps and was therefore sent back to redemption island. Not that he never got off. So don't worry too much Matt fans.

He is saying he wanted him to lose as in be voted off & he was for staying with his tribe, Zap knew he would not switch over & when he got booted for a second time it was as they said punishement enough. He then says ....or I say did as in stayed on RI......this means about when he got blindsided by his own tribe & Ralph is saying it was him losing in a sense then he realized he was not gone from the game so he states....or I say did as in he stayed on RI, Ralph is meaning even though I said he lost he was still on RI cause the vote out didn`t mean he left the game alltogther. I believe some think the last statement means he never left RI as in he loses the last RI challenge tomorrow night BUT I he is refrencing to the second vote out as a loss for Matt but he stayed on RI as in he was not out of the game even at that point. Now I need a drink, this shit is confusing as hell & Ralph`s words probably mean crap since he barely knows how to string a sentence together

These are the same editors who brilliantly portrayed Brett's heroic run to the Final 4 and the brilliant games of Gabon's first and second placers Susie and Bob. Matt's had a storyline because he likes Jesus, wins duels, and is terrible at Survivor. Andrea has no shot at this challenge. No shot. This is all leg strength for the first 30 mins or so and then balance will come into play. Andrea can't beat these guys at this. Mike or Grant is returning. I hope Mike.

First off, the whole Matt/Zap flip was problematic at best. Matt would have been kicked out of Zap in about 5 minutes, regardless of Mike's promise. They weren't going to keep Matt around for the long haul and Ralph knows it. Matt was a moron for trusting BR...but let's face it: BR has fooled many a player more experienced than Matt. And frankly, Matt never said he wanted to win the money, anyway. He was RECRUITED to be on the show, he thought it was a great opportunity and he said yes. End of story. For Ralph to imply that Matt sat around and prayed to God to win a million bucks is hogwash. He even told Jeff two weeks ago that he was ready to go home. Ralph needs to go back to the farm, talk to his pigs and stay there.
