I think Rob has proven that his redemption is being considered the best player of all time and he has accomplished that. That doesn't mean he has to win though. I think the redemption of the person on RI is them taking down Rob and either F5 or F4. That will be enough for them. The winner will most likely be a new person and since Rob is so against Ashley I am leaning towards her for the win. But I will have to say that I will not be at all disappointed if Rob wins because I think he has played a superior game.

People, when you argue for a particular scenario, you must first think to yourself "is this what I want to happen?" Because if it is, then you're likely building your scenario by using certain pieces of evidence and ignoring others. Natalie and Philip will not turn on Rob, at least not at F5. This is 22 seasons of misdirection and analysis talking. They will be the F3 unless the fourth wins the last immunity, in which case I suspect it is more a case of Natalie and Philip turning on each other.

They generally have a puzzle type and an endurance type. Final four is the mesomaze with a puzzle element at the end. IF Rob doesn't use the HII at the final five it is because he has immunity. Period. He has consistently said that he is in this to win and winning does not contemplate putting yourself at unnecessary risk to save a "goat." Besides, in the last couple episodes, it has been made clear that Rob is questioning his plan to take Phillip to the end. So say Rob is final four with RI returnee, and combination of Nat/Phillip/Ashley and the RI returnee and it is clear that the RI returnee has won the IC challenge is going to try to vote out Rob. Rob is obviously going to cast his vote for someone else ie one of his two remaining O tribemates. The two remaining votes are left between Phillip/Nat, Phillip/Ash or Nat/Ash. I think Nat will do whatever Rob wants. Although recent edits have shown her to be close to Ashley, I think her plan will be to stick with Rob. Phillip is a no brainer. He will not vote our Rob over Nat or Ashley. (Phillip believes he can beat Rob in the finale and so does Ashley). In the best case scenerio, Rob gets one person to vote with him and he gets the other person to cast their vote for the OTHER remaining O (who is not him). I see a good pontial for this to happen. He gets three of the final four to spread their votes out and he then gets to decide who (along with the RI returnee) is in the final three with him. In the worst case scenerio, Rob convinces ONE person to vote with him and the other person sides with the RI returnee (ot the three, I could see this being Ashley) to try and take out Rob. Then there would be a tie with a firemaking challenge between Rob and Ashley/Nat or Phillip. I don't give any of those three, especially the girls, a chance against Rob in this challenge.

IDK Simone. I was focused on the reasons that Rob wouldn't play the HII. I wasn't considering the option that someone other than Rob or the RI returnee won immunity. Your "no-brainer" comment has me thinking. Maybe is the "no brainer" referenced in the promos, that the RI returnee doesn't have immunity and is a lock to be voted out. BUT there is no way Rob would risk someone (Ashely/Natalie) flipping and him going home with the HII in his pocket. We have all heard about the parinoia that goes on in this stage of the game. So Rob playing the HII if he doesn't win immunity could also fit the bill as a "no brainer." OK having talked that out.... we are going to agree to disagree. LOL Rob would play the HII if he doesn't have immunity and since Ralph has implied that Rob's HII never gets played, then I believe that Rob wins the IC. ;- )

Why would Final Five be any different? He thinks he has the power and the control...and that comes back to Probst saying he's in a good spot UNLESS he gets too cocky.

For a guy who put so much into this season, you'd think he'd bear a little more animosity towards Phillip and not create a homage to him if he was the one who finally ousts him. No way it happens.

If they find out Rob had the idol all along and kept it a secret from them, they might not vote for him.
