You are suggesting Rob gives his idol to Phillip, gets voted out, and then Ashley winds up voting for Phillip. And you're serious. I'm sorry, what other word would you like me to use? Moron? Imbecile? "Doofus"? The fact of the matter is nothing even remotely suggests that Ashley would vote for Phillip and nothing remotely suggests that Rob is going to give his idol away, let alone to Phillip. The complete lack of discussion in regards to the idol makes it clear that it won't play a big role in the game, for Rob or for another player. And as sad as it sounds, MarianoMan's theory that Ashley secretly lusts for Phillip is currently the most reasonable argument for why she would vote for Phillip, and we're using "reasonable" awfully loosely. Natalie W's win had plenty of story support and at the very least she was portrayed as a likeable/positive character whereas Phillip is an incredible OTTN force. So no, suggesting Natalie would win in Samoa would never have been deemed "idiotic", but suggesting Phillip will win in RI, let alone your ridiculous scheme of how it would happen, is idiotic.

It's quite possible that the moment he needs to use it the most he can't because it's no longer in affect. 2. A massacre of blindsides suggests that the next person to go may include Phil. I'm assuming that means Ashley wins again, leaving no room to maneuvre for Rob, and that gut feeling he has of Phil may come in handy for him. If Ashley loses immunity and gets voted out, it won't be as big a blindside as everyone expects it to be, because she had a gut feeling about it, from the last IC she won.

I wouldn't even be surprised if right after the RI duel they do an immunity challenge making all 4 RI players gone within one hour. I think Rob wins final 5 immunity (making his HII moot), the RI player is voted out, Ashley wins final 4 immunity and Rob gets voted out when Nat and Ashly team up which was a fear Rob had last episode. In the finale Rob will say his biggest mistake was voting out Grant instead of Nat. Voting out Grant never made any sense, he was 100% loyal to Rob so a Grant immunity win was as good as a Rob immunity win.

You can't be blindsided on Redemption Island, because the only way for you to lose is coming in last place, (or in the case of a proper, 2-man duel)losing. There is no voting system in place, therefore, how can three people losing the final duel be construed as three blindsides, much less a massacre, when not a single vote will be cast? WOW....

(1:17) He clearly says "a massacre" as an added qualifier to "bunch of blindsides." "Massacre" refers to blindsides, not the final exodus of RI losers.
