All of those were old stock shots of past seasons and dream teamers. I do think Matt will return, but him being briefly shown out of focus has no bearing on that.

First ones that came to mind are Cirie and Stephanie. Don't know why. If it's Russell I'm not watching. And South Pacific is obviously just to make up for the fact that they are returning somewhere but honestly who gives a shit what they call it?

Redemption Island concept did not work; it was a bust because both players who returned got eliminated the following TC!! If you ask me, this twist is rather pointless to continue. No one enjoyed it! The positioning of the players is so wrong, I feel- cause it was BASED ON who lost the dueceing duel. Grant earned to be in 5th place because he OUTLASTED the other players who were on RI and they still beat him??? That's rather unfair. I WOULD BE PISSED IF I went all the way to day 36 and then lost my placing/monetary prize because I lost in a duel?? Survivor needs to come back to the original concept that made the show so popular in the first place. Stop bringing back players, give fans who apply and want to be on a CHANCE but lost spots over the people who already played once or a bazillion times! But now we know they dont give a shit anymore, they just want to insist on fame whoring out their most well known players and make us watch bez we're that devoted.

We'll get Phil vs Matt, because that's boring and predictable and airtime hogs are better than legitimately entertaining players. Yeah, I know I listed Phil in one of my scenarios, but to see Fran vs Phil would be epic and not just bringing back two flavor-of-the-months.
