However, I'm sure there are some in specific demographics who will just tune in during the last 5 minutes and ignore the rest of the broadcast.

If Haley had left earlier I probably would've stopped watching but she's still here and what's one more show to watch? I won't care who wins if Haley isn't an option but I'll still watch the results show because Haley will be back to perform again and there will be epically horrid group numbers to laugh at. I'm making the prediction that if they announce Haley safe first (like they did Kris in Season 8) that Scotty is going home if they announce Lauren safe first then Haley is going home.

I really think they only logical way to make it suspenseful is to announce the "underdog" safe first and then let the two favorites duke it out..... that's what they did in Season 8. eta: by favorites I mean judge's/producers favorites..... and by "underdog" I mean the one Randy hates. I remember season 8 when Kris was announced safe first and they realized that one of their pets were leaving the judge's table was agast at the outcome. It was funny. She, unlike the remaining two, has faced the most criticism this season and didn't let it get to her like some contestants from seasons past. Scotty and Lauren have never really faced harsh criticism before, and that one time when Lauren did receive a tiny bit of negativity from the judges she broke down in tears and needed Jimmy Iovine and everyone around her to lend support for her fragile ego. If she were to receive a fraction of the shit Haley's been given I'm sure she'd run off the stage and climb back into momma's womb. Scotty is too smug and confident, and I think at this point his ego is so large that if Randy gave him a thumbs down next week for his final performance he'd just wriggle his eyebrows at the camera, give his trademarked crooked grin and know that America would disagree because in his mind he's Neo in the country version of The Matrix.
