Remove this ad What a surprise, the 2 contemporary dancers, who were put in the bottom 3 while doing what, a contemporary or jazz style last night? Not far from their style whatever they did. Yet they still couldn't garner votes.. Where the tall and lanky duo of the tapper and ballroom duo were asked to do Bollywood, and the freerunner to try his first ballroom. This was so set up for them to fail it wasn't even remotely hidden. I think Ivetta's European 'sense of humor' may have been off-putting to those who didn't get her attitude.. But whatever.. Hopefully like last year where we had a ballroom man win Canada's SYTYCD maybe there will be a bit more diversity in the dancers.

And Ryan will grin stupidly through the whole thing, then explain to the judges that her character was just happy because she went to Heaven. Tears from the judges will ensue.

Remove this ad Guys, let's not forget where the blame SHOULD be placed.....on Woobert STAYING in this shit for whatever reason. I hope that fodder starts dropping like FLIES from this point on. Also, as crappy as this season is looking because of bad partnering and judges not judging properly, I am gonna fly on a limb and say that Caitlynn is gonna win all this shit. Watch.

That solo Lauren did where she spent 20 seconds walking out or something. Who ended up going home that night? That's an apt comparison. Ryan's solo tonight was frantic. Like she was trying to throw everything she could into 30 seconds...in a bad way.

You know what the kicker is? They also saved Lauren the first time because of "potential". And then when they saved her again instead of Anya, they said she was starting to reach her "potential". So they saved a mediocre dancer instead of an amazing ballroom dancer because she had connections to a choreographer, and they used "potential" as the reason, just like tonight. At least back then, Mary had more balls when it came to eliminations (she looked fucking PISSED when Nigel was saying Lauren was safe). I love her as a judges, but when it comes to eliminations, I think Nigel makes sure there are no more disagreements before the show starts, since it makes the decision look shaky if the judges are not unanimous. When was the last time they weren't unanimous anyway? I know Nigel said he wanted to keep Christina instead of Melinda last year, but I doubt that was true, since if Nigel really wanted it, it would have happened.

Remove this ad I never thought I'd say this, but the Canadian version is looking a little more appetizing right now (I'm sure it'll fuck itself up soon enough). But seriously, this season just took a huge nosedive for me. I wanted to see Nick and Iveta try contemporary and hip-hop. I really hope more dancers emerge as stars, soon, because we just lost two, and we did not have many to begin with. Go Melanie/Marko and Chris/Ashley I supposed (and for individuals, I like Sasha, but Alex really sucked yesterday). Maybe once we see more from other dancers, I'll change my mind (like with Miranda; I can see her becoming one of my favorites).
