If you called that a bboy solo, you're wrong. It was a solo with bboying at the end: everything from the one-handed handhops on was the bboying. Everything before that was not.

He's generic in his bboy moves, but the guy has a freaking amazing personality when he dances.

It's funny, I only saw the last 15 seconds of the solo the first time the show aired; I assumed the rest of it was b-boying as well (just like his first solo, which actually was a generic b-boy solo). So I should amend my statement to say that I find his b-boying pretty generic right now (and the rest of his solo didn't really "wow" me either) So far, the only compliments you've made about his solo were his song choice, and his personality; not exactly a stellar endorsement of the dancing. IMO, out of the B3, he's probably my favorite guy, but that doesn't keep me from thinking that he easily had the least impressive male solo of the night (although his song choice was better than Ricky's...). It was just... solid, and that's it. His audition was very creative in a lot of ways, and he has yet to replicate that, so he's been disappointing me so far in the solo department. It probably doesn't help that I don't find Tadd as hot as everyone else...but if generic solos are his biggest problem, then he's doing a fantastic job, which he is. He actually reminds me of Mitchel, in a way, who is so great in his partner routines that I expect his solos to be terrific and memorable as well, but they're just not (although Mitchel needs to work on his solos a lot more than Tadd does).
