People always say she never gamed, just coasted to the final. She was the only one in that alliance who DID try. She gamed all the way through, but because it wasn't flashy or dramatic, no one counts that. She's limited, but she used what she had all the way through her season, and it got her the win.

There's tons of houseguests who've played as good or better games than Jordan but they weren't handed the game to them on a silver platter by America like she was.

I get/remember that but was there anything else? Going back to watch BB6, even in the first episode we see Maggie talking about Rachel's game in a very diplomatic way. Maggie was always strategic and calculating. Howie's first HoH week was really the definitive move on her part (it's definitely how she won the game). She knew when to throw competitions (she gave Ivette the final 5 HoH in order to boost her spirits - among other reasons), and she was always the #1 in her alliance. When Jennifer left, Maggie was April's #1. Once Beau left, Maggie was Ivette's #1. If Ivette had left, Maggie would have been Beau's #1. She got her alliance to make moves that would put them in the line of fire over her (Jennifer's whole HoH week - Maggie was a person championing backdooring Kaysar), and she even got the Sovs to veto her one time (Janelle saved her on the block against Jennifer to ensure the success of her alliance's revenge). She's an excellent gamer.

But at the end of the day, Sandra winning twice just reinforces that all these shows are is about who outlasts the others. As stupid as that sounds, that's it. Sandra, if she's not picked off first, integrates herself with a good group she trusts, and is never a target to be booted. Poof, practically insta-final four. Jordan is similar. The luck in it is being who they are. It just helps.
