I don't see how Probst can be a full time talk show host and at the same time be out of the US filming Survivor for 3 to 4 months. No talk show can succeed with 3 or 4 months of reruns while its competitors are airing new shows with timely guests. So either S25 or S26 will be the final season or Survivor will continue on with a new host and Probst staying on as an executive producer. If Mariano is chosen as Probst's successor, I could see them putting out S22 ahead of schedule. Most talk shows dont film during the summer... Survivor films during the summer... what's the conflict?

Then again, it's Thailand. Truthfully, I think Ghandia and Robb deserved cover spots if for no other reason than casual viewers will certainly remember who they are. "Isn't that the crazy guy that choked the old man?" "Isn't that the crazy woman that claimed somebody raped her or something?" From a marketing standpoint, I don't think anybody else in the cast would have been better in their place. But from a hardcore fan standpoint, I understand why some people are like, "WTF..." Shii Ann is a pre-jury boot but in any other normal season, she would've at least made it to the merge. And don't forget Boston Rob was on the cover of HvV and he was booted way before Shii Ann was in Thailand.

My boyfriend and I have been watching all the seasons dating from way back and I have to constantly hide the disc covers from him so he doesn't get spoiled. It's probably just as annoying for those who get these without ever seeing the season previously. They should have ALL the seasons cast members on the cover like they did with All Stars.

That's a good point. I'd really prefer just a black case with the logos over these new covers. I have to do that as well for my girlfriend who's never seen the show.

Posts: 24 (08/10/11 04:57 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Hey all, well I misunderstood about the rules I was given towards posting my box art, and once I got it all cleared up, as I understand it now, I can share my work with you guys once again. Again, I made these just because I cannot stand to have things that don't look the same in my DVD collection, so I made them simply for continuity if you will. I am not selling these, wouldn't be legal or ethical, but as I have mentioned, I would be more than willing to send out the files for those who want to print them out themselves, assuming someone has a way I can upload or share such large files. Anywho, here is the HvV box I have been working on for some time now. Sorry it took so long, I got held up with work and personal life stuff, but I finally got it done :D I made it larger than this, but have shrunk it down for posting on here purposes. I have started on the Thailand and Amazon boxes already as well, but I won't be able to finish them until I get the DVD's themselves. Hope you enjoy! :D

Replacing the listings made this a little problematic. My Thailand notification came, but late. Last night, I contacted Amazon.com about the problem for The Amazon and received my notification a few hours later. I want to be sure that every notification went out so that not a single order is missed by this bizarre switcheroo.

Also interesting is that unlike the previous MOD releases they have put together, they have not shown the spine of the DVD cases (all three looking the same). Perhaps this release is coming in one, 5 disc case holding all the discs together? Packaged it better? Who knows. It'd be awesome if so. Maybe theyll hear requests for bluray releases and invest in a 200$ bluray burner :D

All Stars had 7 discs but the Thailand and Amazon have 100 more minutes of footage so anything at or below 7 discs is great news! As for the box to fit each case, I can only wish. It's almost too good to be true but not impossible.

Remove this ad I think that they made the right call on who is on the cover of the Thailand box. Besides the hard-core fans, the top 6 of Thailand is pretty forgettable for the average viewer (who is going to remember Jan or Ted?). The Amazon cover, I think they could have included Alex instead of Butch. I really cannot complain though since they are finally releasing these two seasons.
