Remove this ad Oops- bad memory, I wasn't really into just yet at that point, and my very first season of BB, so I was clueless to all the riggage. Imagine my shock that there wasn't an AP every season.

You might say Rachel but without the twist, Kalia (maybe) doesn't twisted into knots trying to outhink the unknown and goes straight for Rachel who would have been an easy eviction at that point. So Rachel gone, Jeff gone (I don't believe that Dani would have cared to keep JJ safe despite what she says now) and Porsche wins that slip-n-slide HoH as she finished 2nd or 3rd to those two. Assuming the comps are all the same, Kalia wins the DE HOH and Porsche wins Snake Eyes (no one would have beaten her). There was potential for six straight weeks of power for Dani's alliance and they would have wiped out nearly all opposition.

We can go ahead and assume Dani would win the next week's HoH and PoV like she did, but she would have likely been taken out at f7. So America's player gave them 1st and 2nd instead of 9th and 7th and gave Dani an extra two comp wins.

No one is criticizing her ability to win competitions but unfortunately for her, that's only like 10% of the game. If not for the AP twist, she and her dad's horrible gameplay would have gotten them bounced right away and she never would have gotten to play in most of the comps she won. Sure she can stand on a pair of skis and rock back and forth or throw tiny veto symbols into an empty jug but when it comes to the other 23 1/2 hours in the BB day, she sucks. Her social game is one of the worst of all time.

If you don't want to be corrected, be more careful constructing your arguments. If her ability to win competitions is not to be questioned, it makes no sense to say the only reason she got anywhere was because of Eric. And not so incidentally, how much help was Eric to her when he was instructed to vote and campaign for Dick final in the final two? She was indirectly helped in the beginning and directly harmed in the end.

Remove this ad Still think it's funny that she won 5 POVs in her first season and couldn't win a single one this season, even though she played in almost all of them. Hell, she couldn't win one that involved putting a puzzle together against rocket-scientist Jeff when her ass was on the line. And, yeah, in a legit season, she would have gone no further than 7th in BB8. (Like that idiot Jessica would have wasted her HOH on Amber if it weren't for all the Jewish producers making their Jewish AP ensure she did.) Maybe even gone sooner since who the hell knows what the DR said to get Dick to stay over Joe.

I can't remember the names of any of the cast from last year except Rachel and Brendon and that's only because they were on this season. I can't even remember who I wanted to win between Dani and her dad. I do remember them tho - although I didn't recognize Dani in the beginning of this season. I know I don't like Dani this season but it is impressive how the wrapped Kalia, Porsche, and Shelly around her pinky and got them to do her bidding. Everyone is calling Shelly a mindfucker but really it is Dani. Shelly is still going on in her exit interview about how much she adores Jordan but Dani talked Shelly into going against Jordan - that's impressive. (Even if Dani did get a little help from production ;) ) In real life, I would NOT want Dani as a friend. I wouldn't even want to work in the same office as her or be near her in any way. She was a great mind fucker because she owns Porsche and Kalia even now. They are still playing for her! Not her fan this season and thought she made a lot of bad moves but she ruled those girls!

That's a fair question, but if you seriously think Eric would have been first boot, you're just a fucking moron. If there was no America's player, stuff doesn't necessarily go down anywhere close to what actually happened. Dick and Daniele were targeted by their alliance so early because of Daniele nominating Eric. Daniele turned on the alliance because it turned out Eric was casting the hinky votes that screwed Nick. Without America's player, Eric votes how he wants and there's nothing for Nick to be blamed for. Nick still could have been targeted the same week, but Daniele wouldn't necessarily have any reason for a plan to get rid of Eric. As far as Dick staying over Joe, I don't think he needed any help with that. I mean, it was Joe. So to say Dick for sure would have been 9th and Daniele would have been 7th is to completely ignore how much America's player affected the game in ways other than campaigning for Dick.

Remove this ad I hate coming to this thread seeing that there's tons of new posts only to see people debating a season 4 years ago. That said I hope it goes to show that, sure - whether or not she plays a good game or not is certainly questionable - but she's smart enough to be entertaining for the sake of television. Her popularity goes way beyond Sucks if you actually follow any other social boards. And the fact that everyone is still bitching and debating Season 8 proves she deserves the shots at other shows given to the likes of Coach, Ozzy, or Rupert. She's complicated. A bitch? Sure. She should be.. she's surrounded by imbiciles. I'd be a bitch too, bigger even. Probably wouldn't even leave the HOH. I give her props.
