They do it because they can. So why watch? These shows are a perfect metaphor for life in corporate America: Watch as ordinary people (workers) try to win (earn) money by doing whatever their increasingly sadistic showrunners (bosses) tell them to, doing so with the threat of being voted off the island or evicted (downsized) always hanging over everyone's heads. The only difference is that instead of management firing the workers, the workers get to fire each other!

I hope SOMEONE sees that makes no sense. You're changing the subject. The donut comp was created for Rachel to win. She, and only she, could have won it. The others had no chance. Yes, not every contestant has an absolutely equal chance in every comp. That doesn't change the FACT that no contestant other than Rachel had any chance in this competition. When you add in the timing of the comp, it settles it. Objectively rigged.

I find it hard to believe that posters are so passionately convinced that ONLY Rachel could have won when a lot of the women in S12 struggled with this in the food comp. Adam threw it again plain and simple.

You honestly believe productions has five brand new comps all of which were specifically designed for each HG, waiting in the stock room that they can pull out for F5 based on who they want to win the comp. Do you think they do that for every comp or just after the F9?

But that isn't the case.

You mean like how they've never done a veto endurance before but pulled one out at the most opportune time for the vets? :) Theyre rigging comps for rachel to win to validate the forced winners edit shes receiving. It's obvious.

Adam threw it again plain and simple. When I read about a doughnut competition I thought it was going to be an eating competition too, until I read they were crawling through something sticky. It wasn't necessarily rigged for Rachel as much as it was rigged against Kalia. Kalia is so out of shape that she can't win physical challenges. Brains usually wins out over brawn in real life but not in the Big Brother house. Kalia has only won challenges that required a good memory, and I'm pretty sure production was aware of that. Memory is a good trait to have in real life but it doesn't help much when crawling in doughnut glaze.

All the women, including Rachel, were slower than all the guys except Brenda, who lost his shorts. Even Brit, however, did fairly well. So Rachel, Monet, Annie and Kristan and Brit held their own. Matt, Ragan, Enzo and Lane smoked it. Each person only had to go a couple of times, but the goo was a lot heavier. Based on comparative performance, I don't agree with rigged.

The only other veto endurance I can think of was the tea party balance on a pedestal comp from season 8. That was just standing in place. All It took was concentration. Anyone could of done it. Rachel's veto was nothing but physical endurance. Definitely slanted to the person in best shape. Totally catered to Rachel.
