Human errors or a Chenbot flub seem to be the only variables. It would be one thing if they were constantly fucking with things for the drama. Instead they just like to fuck with things to push their favorites to the win.

I'm just happy Adam got something to do in the house as he's been a total bore all year.It would have just made better on screen drama if Adam, having just won his first HOH, gets locked in with Jessie who gives him workout advice and a workout shopping spree while everyone else, who could essentially give a hoot about Tori Spelling, gets to party with her. It just didn't seem very tight production that Rachel got to open PB...why would Adam get rewarded? There seems to be no reason for the Tori Spelling appearance at this point other than that something else was supposed to happen with the F5 HOH, but that Adam chose to throw.

I can't believe are STILL devaluing Lisa's win after "BB11: Special Olympics" gave us our first winner with the downs.
Lisa may not have run the season but she wasn't oblivious to everything that was going on around her, she made moves when she needed to, she was smart enough not to vote Eric back in, she didn't need the last HOH rigged for her, she didn't have jurors arm-twisted to vote for her to win, and she didn't have production playing for her the whole time because she wasn't sure if she was on "Big Brother" or "Survivor" or "The Price Is Right" or "The Bachelor." If Natalie "deserved" to lose for being unlikable, then so did Danielle. Danielle wasn't likable.

The HOH meets Tori and the rest of the house gets Jesse. This IS Big Brother we are talking about. They make up the rules/rewards/competitons as they go along.

So I really don't know much about "how Big Brother used to be" because just watching QuirkyDude's you tubes can never replace the kind of 24-7 watching and reading recaps that some of you know. Because of that I try to be as patient as I can, most of the time anyway, about the bitching and moaning about the good old days. To be completely frank though, it sounds a lot like listening to someone talk about 5 cent Hershey Bars and Gas Wars bringing a gallon down to 24.9 cents a gallon, or to go further back, walking 3 miles to school in deep snow every day. My first season, my heart was pretty broken when Big Brother interfered and refused to even let Adam and Ryan TALK after midnight because they were about to change their votes and keep Natalie. Then they called them in and made them lock in their votes, what, 15 hours BEFORE the live show. It was my first season, and I was as upset as some of you are now, because it was such blatant "rigging" and bullshit. I thought Natalie fought the hardest and carried those slugs, it wasn't F A I R. I have never been as upset again, that first cherry popping was painful, but it's over. Now, I appreciate (for real) that there IS another player in this game, Big Brother, who will fuck with them, will arrange things to suit BB's game (which is producing 24 hours of television every single week and making money/getting ratings.) Letting people see behind the scenes on the feeds most of the time is unprecedented and still pretty cool and a bit brave for them to do as well. I would love no trees or fish, and wish I had been around for those days, but I also wish gas still cost under a dollar a gallon. My personal bottom line is that I still love this show, but I am not about to get too invested in who wins, who goes, or whatever tricks Big Brother wants to play on it's captives. I think the game is hard as hell. I think the comps are more of an interesting diversion than a reason to root for someone or for them to win the game. It's a social experiment, and winning comps is a double-edged sword. Live by it, die by it, it's just the way it goes. That said, people's true character's do seem to come out, and that is the most interesting part of the entire show for me. BB manipulation helps bring those true selves out. Last comment. I think this game is much harder than even the most avid feed watcher or recapper can comprehend. So, to me, anyone that wins it? Earns it, especially if that entails currying the favor of the unseen houseguest, Big Brother.
