Kevin doesn't often get a defense of his game play, particularly since he was ignored on the show until Jessie was evicted.   So here it is;

Early on Kevin played a smart UTR game by initially laying low and establishing a clear loyalty to Lydia (and Chima) even after Chima told him that Lydia was selling him out to Jessie. 

By giving Lydia the benefit of the doubt and continuing to be loyal to her, Kevin had transitioned from token gay to trustworthy and loyal player by midgame, and this allowed him to sell the game changing "lie" to Jeff.    Despite the fact that the DR was begging Jeff not to go through with vetoing Kevin and backdooring Russell, how many times on the feeds did we hear Jeff and Jordan convince themselves that "Kevin wouldn't lie!"?.   It must have been 100, at least.   Natalie wasn't pulling that shit off herself. Everyone knew she was a sneaky bitch by that point.  

Ignoring pre-jury assholes like Braden and Ronnie, Kevin always kept lines open with everyone in the house, and everybody, minus Jessie, attempted to get into an alliance with him at some point in the game.   He didn't over extend himself at first, and he won comps when he absolutely needed to.   There's no doubt he would have won the game against Natalie.  Jordan would have been a squeaker becuase of AC.
