The way he forced these loan guarantees through the system against the good advice of the people who knew better, especially with the way that the private investors were given preference over the government in a default is criminal. Contrast that with the way the car companies were bailed out and the bondholders were raped. So far the defense has been that they saved 1000 jobs for a few months. I even wonder if mainstream news, realizing that Obama will lose in 2012, may decide to actually investigate Solyndra in the hopes of getting Obama out of office and another candidate on the Dem ticket.
