Will wouldn't have beat Janelle at F4 even if his thumb was 100% and he was in the best shape of his life and that was his decision which is the stupid part.

Lol, have you seen this show before?  Even if what you're saying is true, Will didn't need competition wins to do well.  For the most part he didn't even need his close allies to win competitions.

Relying on a social game is much better than relying on competition wins or Grodner.

Yeah and I watched as Will shot his game to hell despite everything going his way because of bad strategy, an ineffective social game, and his inability to win competitions.

We're ranking the winners, and almost all of them have had good social games.  Citing that is pointless. 

It's funny how certain posters give Will credit but not Jordan despite them relying entirely on socializing but not being able to win anything.  Well Jordan has won a couple things unlike Will.  Somehow, winning stuff apparently means you must automatically be a worse Big Brother player according to the Will lovers.

The difference is Will having a firm grasp on this game.... He knew what it was about, had strategy, had a game plan, and played almost flawlessly until the end. He doesn't need to or ever wanted to win competitions for his game. He was always still considered a threat though because he was a legend of the game. Jordan on the other hand can barely count to 10, cannot tie her shoelaces and doesn't know the first thing about this game other than being "nice" and not doing a great job at it. She was never perceived as a threat because it would be a waste of an hoh. In Will's case, there were plenty of opportunities to get rid of him and he would never be considered a waste of an hoh because of how powerful and how controlling of the game he was. I don't even think he regrets his decision, he was 100% happy that Mike won and his goal from the start was either winning a 2nd time or for Mike to win and he got that accomplished..... Jordan on the other hand can't say the same about Jeff.

Winning things is good, but it doesn't necessarily mean there better players or worse. Strategy & Social are kind of related but its' a huge difference when you compare how Will won in S2 and how Jordan won in S11. One played the game, made moves, took risks, and won even after being the bastard he was. The other twirled her hair, ate cookie dough, had the dumb look of being so so innocent and sweet and won a challenge at the end which was a retarded challenge to begin with for a final one.....

They both played social games but one actually tried to do things with all the time he had in the BB house while the other one didn't do anything but act sweet and got rewarded for it. I guess mainly what I'm saying is some players are irrelevent to the whole game and skate by doing nothing (Jordan, Adam BB13, Zach, etc) while others actually try to go big whether it's dumb or not they make moves to control their fate in the game (Will, Dan, Jun, Maggie, Hayden, even pre jury players such as Kaysar BB6 or Jase BB5. The last 2 may have been poor strategists in overall terms but atleast they fought hard, played the game and weren't irrelevant. They made big moves and paid for it. I respect them over someone like Adam BB13 who made no moves and got far.


*** Also the thing about the veto... I actually think it was more credible for Will to win without a veto. He was on the hot seat so many times he had to rely purely on social and strategy to survive and didn't need a competition to do it for him. It was a different game back then but I don't think Veto's would have made such a big difference in the grand scheme of things. If anything it's harder to win without a veto because you don't have that chance to save yourself and rely purely on game.
