How he could possibly be hailed as any kind of "hero" is beyond me when everything he does is edited just the right way in order to "prove" his point. His films are full of factual distortions and outright lies----they resemble totalitarian propaganda films in that way. Also, I hate that stupid look on his face.

Beefcake wrote:Moore's movies aren't documentaries, they're propaganda pieces. That's fine, but no one should confuse them with news reports or real documentaries (if any exist nowadays). Moore is advocating a particular moral and political viewpoint, not objectively presenting all sides of a story.

He is a self supporting, 1 sided, egomaniac that is wasting our air. He needs to be put down for the good of all.

I jsut saw a documentary about Bernard Madoff that used recreations, etc., and no one is screaming that it is undermining the integrity of documentaries. I guess I'll have to netflix it to be sure. eta: sheesh, could those people take themselves any more seriously?

Found a guy witha cat on his headKinda blurryCould be anything
I met Michael Moore back in '91. One of my professors got him to give a talk to a screenwriting seminar I took at UMich - there were maybe 12 of us in the class. He and his wife showed up and chatted with us about making documentaries for a couple hours.
