The way I understand it, the finale was written to be 2 hours but ABC decided not to give them the 2 hours so they edited together the episode into an hour by putting some of the material from the first into the second. The party was clearly intended to be the entire second hour but they had no other choice but to edit as best as possible. And Erica reminds me of Carrie from SATC. Having Kim Delaney do the rounds (for better or worse, check out Gawker for a link here of her making a fool of herself at some semi important US ceremony makes me think Jenny and Greg as the new anchors for the web series with Ryan and possible Greenlea. I don't know how they'll explain the absence of everyone. Oh well, just an idea. I kind of think AMC should end and not continue on in the web format. It's not really AMC if only Ryan stays on.

I love almost all the soaps during the late 70s and 80s and have so much useless info about them in my head. SFT, EON, ATWT, GL, OLTL, GH, AMC...sigh. I watched the final episode (last night) and I wasn't sure what was going on exactly, but it was nice to see some clips from old days. I also liked the tribute on "The View".
