The reason that John has no power is twofold. First it's just often this way on Survivor because they overload the tribes with mactors so regular people don't have much of a shot, and secondly and more specifically because as we've seen in all seasons that Ozzy has been in, Ozzy is a self entitled douche who has the utmost contempt for non athletic people and has been spreading this attitude amongst his tribe. So with no personal power John can do zilch on his own -that doesn't mean he has no strategic skill. However Jim being better looking and more athletic by far- has an in with everyone here, and I'm just SO fucking glad he actually decided to DO something interesting with it AND that he isn't going to be a pathetic star struck airhead like everyone from RI and the majority of "fans" in Micronesia. Jim IS a star and I'm a big fan of his now! I'm quite positive he won't be Cwistied at any point. Hell, he really could even win, or be the final 2/ final 3 victim of a bitter jury.

Keith can play it off that he wasn't in a gang against Ozzy and gain his friendship back once Ozzy stops throwing a tantrum. They still need Ozzy's for the challenges. From Ozzy's "free agent" comment sounds like he's been confused into thinking people were voting as "free agents" and not in an alliance against him and Elyse which was the point.

I'd be more concerned about Jim flipping on Cochran than Cochran flipping on Jim. If Cochran finds himself in a good spot with Jim and Dawn, I just don't see him flipping on them until late late game. Jim is more of a "being in a safe spot isn't enough, I want power and control" kind of player (a smarter Joel), he'll flip on you in a heartbeat if he doesn't think he's at the top of the alliance totem pole.

Someone mentioned him joining the mactors until he gets voted off. I honestly thought the same thing would happen.
