Remember when each castaway got an acceptable amount of face time, and it wasn't all just about the male contestants? Why is it that certain contestants might get 1, 2, even 0 confessionals....meanwhile....we're all force to watch Brandon, Coach, and Ozzy multiple times throughout every fucking episode? NONE of them are hot. They're ALL ugly, and either boring or assholes.

But if she does come back in the game (fingers and toes crossed), I very much doubt she'll run back to her old tribe mates.

Albert impressed the hell out of me tonight. Up until now, I had mostly dismissed him as Upolu's male eye candy, but the guy has game. Love the Sophie/Albert twosome going against Benjamin's plan. I wish Rick had gone along with these two though. I'm not pleased that my girl Christine will have to battle Mikayla next week. Here's hoping the next RI challenge will involve a slingshot.

I've been a huge fan since the beginning, yet I am this close to not watching this show anymore. They might as well call it the "Coach, Ozzy and Brandon" show. No one else gets any airtime...they show a glimpse of someone and I have no idea who that is! Even when Russhole isn't on the show, he's still being mentioned in every episode. Those three are hogging most of the airtime. Redemption Island is pointless and boring, and wastes time that could be spend showing some other players besides the three I mentioned. What's with their new kick of bringing back two returning players that have played 4546543165 times already?? As if Redemption Island and the Immunity Idol weren't crappy enough twists. There have been 6 or so episodes, yet tonight I saw glimpses of three people I'd never even seen before. The editing this season is horrible. I've read so many posts on here and even Probst's response, and Survivor just isn't listening to its most loyal fans. The show is being driven into the ground, as if the producers want it to fail! I can't think of any other reason as to why they don't listen to the fans and make each episode lousier than the last. If a hardcore fan like me is getting fed up, I imagine most of the other fans are too...I wish there was something we could do to make the producers listen but they seem to be intent on killing the show. Otherwise I can't imagine making it become so lousy.

I find it a very refreshing change for last season's brainless lemmings. Maybe I'm in the minority, or maybe it's because it's following a complete dud, but I'm really digging this season. The cast, especially - although I too could do without the returning players, but hey, we're stuck with them. But at least, this season, most castaways appear to be thinking for themselves. It's a HUGE step up from last season IMO.

Posts: 187 (10/19/11 09:39 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	great season great cast great editing, you must love mactors if you dont like this season, only bad thing is RI, but even that is more tolerable than last season's and wtf its not all about 2 or 3 people, we have coach, brandon, edna, dawn, jim, cochran, ozzy and even albert and keith having plenty of airtime.. so good job producers/editors/casting directors for this season and thanks to the cast for voting out the right people, mikayla and semhar, nice girls but they got no game at all, stacey and christine, bad social players and with no shot at winning, elyse typical girl who slides through, finally not happening this season.. and papa bear.. amazing season with a lot of social dynamics and interesting stuff going on Jim, Dawn and Sophie F3 plz !!

The point is....most of them aren't getting airtime. We barely know Keith, Whitney, Rick, Edna, Sophie, and Albert. The fact that one could MAYBE argue that we know Sophie is pathetic, because that's merely in comparison to the rest of the cast. If this were seasons let's just say....1-15.....Sophie would be COMPLETELELY invisible. BTW...do these contestants realize it's not against the rules to vote off a straight men with a penis, no matter how much the producers pressure you not to?

No. But compared to the last five or six seasons, it has a really likeable cast. (Albeit Coach, Ozzy, and Brandon). And yeah, the editing sucks, but I have a feel for who everybody is by now. (The exceptions probably being Whitney and Rick). So while it isn't the best season ever, it has some people I'm really rooting for, (Sophie, Albert, Dawn, Edna, Jim). And the only good thing about RI is that it could make any other season look better in comparison. <3
