I often find numerous hidden gems by re-watching MF episodes because the writing is so clever.

It was only in last episode where there was even a hint of his homosexuality -- and it was played up for laughs by trying to kiss Brad's boss. Of course, he's so repellant that it is realistic that he wouldn't have a boyfriend or even any other gay friends. Most gay people live in the world between Happy Ending's Max and Modern Family's Cameron.

Posts: 1795 (11/03/11 06:55 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I can't imagine going to popular television for gay role models, or even accurate portrayals - in the same way that most suburban moms aren't crazed perfectionists like Claire (most, I said.....most), few gays are anything like Cam and Mitchell - except that we all know at least four off the top of our heads. It's a broad comedy played for laughs - if I don't think about taking, say, Dillon seriously for a second, or Gloria's over the top everything, then why does Cam get to sit on a pedestal?
