healthy types are generally going to be better than unhealthy members of any type, but, generally speaking, some overall impressions:

1s - if they can get over moral compunctions, their planning/strategy/integrity allow them to fair somewhat well in survivor (yul). if they are particularly critical of others, or so principled that they cannot go along with the group and must criticize the main nucleus, they are in trouble (penner). overall, an average type as far as effectiveness goes.

2s - too emotional, too afraid of letting others down, too selfless - strategy would be greatly impacted typically. this might be one of the types most likely to not be playing to win. will probably be fairly well liked, though histrionics could possibly piss people off (sugar). probably overall below average in effectiveness.

3s - smooth, very careful about image presentation, moral compunctions/methods matter less than practical end result/appearance, hardworking, socially facile. the ideal type for survivor.

4s - too moody, introverted. too dark, emotional. not outwardly positive enough. probably typically too much negativity and emphasis on difference and self-consciousness to be fully integrated into the tribe. on base, one of the worst types for survivor.

5s - too socially withdrawn, tires of social niceties way too easily. wants to detach from environment too much to study it - can't afford to do that during the game. not typically very socially facile. wants to be secretive, hermited away for awhile. on the plus side, not emotional or pushy and extremely analytical. on base probably not an ideal type.

6s - naturally attuned to social relationships, reactive, will form strong social bonds, will be liked. will work hard to secure place in tribe. downside is that type can be too paranoid, reactionary. a somewhat above average type for survivor.

7s - analytical, extroverted, generally likable entertaining to tribemates, skilled generalists. may get too bored or not focus on game. emotionally detached. sometimes a little too outspoken. on base a pretty solid type.

8s - strong, establish control and confidence easily. typically will be in control of game/dominant alliance quickly. brusque, tough, outspoken style risks FTC loss to goats. typically strong challenge competitors. 8s who inspire confidence (tom) rather than cajole and threaten (russell) will typically perform better. overall, not a bad type for survivor at all.

9s - not going to establish control, going to go with flow. on the plus side, will often be extremely likable and rarely voted off early; will often be able to win jury votes off of likability. if paired with strong, controlling players, can get to the end and do very well (ethan, amber). average to somewhat above average.
