Day 51: Girls just wanna have fun

The last three remaining girls Louise, Alex and Faye have had a good old girly natter today.

Louise said she was really pleased to be in the last remaining weeks with the other two girls, and particularly liked the fact that they all shared a tomboy-like quality, not minding farts and burps.

Alex said she would never have believed all those weeks ago when she walked down the Big Brother staircase and into the House, that she’d be sat there then with those two girls, bonding over their friendship and journey together. Aww!

Faye, pleased that she survived last night, said she was so pleased to be left with two girls that were so genuine and down to earth, and that there was no jealousy between them at all. She went on to say that she couldn’t believe there are only 13 days left of the show, after which time they’ll all be separated again. *tissue*

And naturally the conversation turned to boys.

Louise discussed her evening with Jay last night, fondly speaking of how funny she finds him, in particular when he tried to get into bed completely naked except for a giant furry hat. Meanwhile Faye spoke dotingly about beau Aaron, drawing on last night when he got into bed and said “Right, are you ready girly?” Alex added that she and Tom usually just sit back and watch the action between the couples unfold, and then fall asleep like an old couple.

The girls concocted a plan to persuade the boys to hand over all of their alcohol to them tonight so they can properly enjoy themselves for one night only. Will they manage to convince them?

Day 51: Task Alert - Cleany Meeny Miny Mo

Today, Big Brother decided it had had enough of the messy housemates dirtying its lovely abode – they wouldn’t do it in their own houses would they? So we’ve set them a Task - a cleaning task… with a dirty twist.

A short while ago Tom was called to the diary room where Big Brother informed him that for the next hour all housemates must clean up the house. All housemates, that is, except for him…

To win a special reward, Tom’s has been given an additional individual secret task (hush hush). His ‘job’ is to do absolutely nothing. He is forbidden to partake in any cleaning related action, and is unable to lift a single finger for the entire duration of the clean up.

Upon exiting the diary room, Tom announced the cleaning task (minus twist), and has already began procrastinating in the bedroom (by doing a little dance on his own), and has taken to making himself look busy by directing everyone else.

If he ultimately succeeds, Big Brother will reward him later in the diary room. Will he scrub up nicely? Or will the others discover his dirty little secret? Keep it here to find out…

Day 51: Task Alert: Chipmunks

For today’s task, Housemates will become chipmunks. They will dress like chipmunks, and sing like chipmunks.

Since chipmunks just love to sing, each housemate will take it in turns to perform a song (chipmunk style), the rest of the house will have to guess what they are singing.

Housemates take it in turns to perform the songs in the small task room. Everyone else will watch the performance on the plasma screen in the living room and at the end of the performance must guess what song is being sung. The singing
housemate’s voice will be distorted to sound chipmunk like.

The songs they will be singing are:
* I Think We’re Alone Now – Tiffany
* Dancing In The Moonlight – Toploader
* Love Machine – Girls Aloud
* Wild Thing – The Troggs
* More, More, More – Bananarama
* Bleeding Heart – Leona Lewis

Housemates will automatically win a ‘hibernation-themed’ party for tonight for taking party but the quality of the party will depend on how many songs they guess correctly. The chipmunk party scale is as follows:

Peanut Party
For less than 2 songs guessed correctly, Housemates will receive:
* 1 x play of Chipmunk’s “Champion”
* 1 x bowl of peanuts

Hazel Nut Party
For 3 or 4 songs guessed correctly, Housemates will receive:
* 2 x play of Chipmunk’s “Champion”
* 2 x bottles of beer
* 1 x bottle of wine
* 1 x bowl of mixed nuts

Giant Brazil Nut Party
For 5 or 6 songs guessed correctly, Housemates will receive:
* Cosy hibernation suits
* A takeaway of Housemates’ choice
* A selection of soft and alcoholic drinks
* A selection of popular music tracks as chosen by Housemates
* A selection of sweet treats
* 1 x bowl of mixed nuts

Will it all go squeakily well? Or will it drive them all nuts?

Just to take this a bit O/T I need some help regarding my planned BB12 DVD cover from you. Two questions in particular:

The first is that at this moment 5 contestants are locks to be on the cover (Aaron, Jay, Alex, Faye and Anton). The question is who should be given the sixth slot? At this moment in time it's between Harry and Louise, but there is also a strong case for Jem and Tom, I'd like your opinions on who makes it.

The second question is that normally the top centre position on the cover is reserved for the winner, however the Survivor DVD covers (which I base my designs on) have given the top centre spot to non-winners before in cases where the non-winner in question was such a prominant and important character to the show (Rupert in Pearl Islands). It is something I replicated with putting Janelle top centre on the BBUS 6 DVD Cover. The point is that I am seriously considering giving Aaron this treatment and putting him top centre even if he doesn't win, would you be OK with this?

Day 52: The onesie show

The housemates have been rewarded a relaxing autumn evening after going nuts earlier in the ‘Chipmunk Task’. The crazy critters received onesies too keep them snug and cozy on these cold nights, and were also gifted with the joys of music and a top quality ‘ruby murray’.

Sadly, the housemates have come out looking more like a reject bunch of mighty morphin superheroes that don’t so much fight crime… Instead choosing to sing, dance and hug all the time, so really more like a bunch of cuddly bears. However, Tom built a whole different type of alter ego for himself when he pulled up his black onesie, saying “I look like I’m going to rob Gregg’s or sumink!” whilst he hopped on and off the beds.

Once the housemates completed their curry, Big B played in some awesome tunes for the housemates to get their groove onto. But wait, Aaron was absent throughout all of the larking about, choosing to spend his time lying in bed.
