In the last 3/4 episodes they were lavishing praise on Viktor non-stop. He was the front runner, and then totally blew it by making a collection filled with pieces that looked like they belonged in a Salt & Pepper music video. Like, seriously, a knee-length leather skirt with zippers all around it?! Paired with a see through black blouse with horrific breast plates? What the fuck was he thinking? Viktor lost that one all by himself. I also didn't love his print, I thought it looked like a tiled screensaver. Anya's collection was by far the simplest and 1 note, but it was a damn good note, and it was overall better than the deeply flawed collections that the other 3 designers sent out.

Uli's silhouettes were ok and more varied/interesting, but I think Anya has far better taste with patterns and colors, and she uses them far more beautifully than Uli did.

I'm surprised more Sucksters aren't calling shenanigans. First, in the home visit episode, they keep saying a designer will be eliminated. Until Anya turns out such a shockingly crappy collection that makes her boot inevitable. But surprise! Everybody gets a pony and a trip to fashion week. Suddenly it's like the Special Sewing Olympics. Because there are no losers on Project Runway. It's not as though one day you're in and one day you're out. Then two of Anya's three looks get scathing reviews from the judges. Certainly there's no connection between that and their being visited by the fabric ferry, who gives them $500 to spend at Mood without an additional challenge being thrown into the mix. Because, you know, the producers are just nice people and want everybody to look their best at fashion week. Was anybody actually surprised that Anya won? She's pretty, she has a sob story, and she has a sex tape. It's as though she was born with the Lifetime logo tattooed on her shaved head. The producers were going to stop at nothing to make sure their girl walked away with the prize. And in doing so, they killed Project Runway.

Outside of these boards, everyone I talked to was very happy that Anya won and the fact she was the fan favorite winner only means success for the PR franchise, not the demise of it.

Honestly I was really hoping for Anthony Ryan from the start, but once he got auf'ed I climbed on board the Anya train and all I cared about was making sure Josh lost, which became immediately evident in the first episode of After the Runway.

Lifetime has salvaged this show. They made a misstep with S7 casting, but these past two seasons have been every bit as good as the first four on Bravo.

Yeah she did after the judges had to tell her what to do for her collection. She had how many weeks to put together a collection and she puts together shit? She cant think on her feet, she can take direction.

That may indeed be the case, but this is no longer a design competition. It's a popularity contest with sewing. Exactly what long-term fans feared the show would turn into with the move to Lifetime and the addition of Bunim/Murray as producers. I always knew the judges were whores to the brand, but I'm surprised Tim Gunn allows himself to continue to be associated with this crap; he must value his paycheck more than his integrity.

Have we ever been told her name before? Was she Anya's model from the start? I'm glad the models spin-off show went away, but if there's going to be a prize for the winning model it would be nice to see them integrated--a tiny bit--more into the show.

Hell, I gave up on Survivor years ago and it didn't hurt anything for those who love it and even some new viewers. I also feel they manipulated the season for certain designers to go far and "show their story." I also feel the show has hit a point where I really am not wowed by much of anything on the runway. Their fault or mine? Not sure, but this show is off my list. Last year I admit I was one of the Bettys frustrated by the way it went down. This year, more than anything, I was underwhelmed and, while liking a lot of the contestants, could care less about most of the work itself. But I watch these shows more for product than for the cast, as much as both go together, so it has been a letdown overall.

She did just fine with the time allowed during the season, and did think on her feet. I wasnt talking about the finale where ALL of them changed stuff based on judges critiques and suggestions. Did they all not get another $500? Viktor was my favorite all along but I liked Anya as well. Sorry I'm not as bitter as many of you seem to be.
