Overrated.not so sure...I think Yul is in the majority alliance more often than not...super likable guy...I'm VERY impressed on how production team was able to rigged the entire game in his favor. Just because he looks like a winner doesn't make him a winner. He lost to Adam in math challenge!

Every single time that a Russell fanboy posts about how the jury was bitter and didn't vote for him cause he was responsible for the jury members' boots, the first thing I think of is Yul fucking Kwon. Yul was a brilliant player who had his eye on the big prize from the get go. He understood that it was the jury that decided the winner. Despite being the clear and obvious leader, he ensured that people weren't pissed at him. Gestures such as bringing back Jonathan hat and deals for jury votes such as the one he made with Adam to booth Jonathan before him are things that ensured that he'd be acknowledged as a respectable competitor. The fact that he went up against Ozzy, who went on a record-breaking immunity run, had a pretty good sob story, and was actually liked well enough and still came up on top shows you how valuable jury management is. And Yul was arguably the king of it.

He's one of the best jury strategists we've ever seen, but in game we didn't really see him do anything special. And the twists were mostly in Yul's favor, anyway. Yes, the mutiny put him in a big numbers disadvantage, but wasn't Candice, at least, planning on jumping over after the merge anyway? In hindsight, she would have been better off had she stuck with Aitu; the mutiny just revealed a threat that Yul didn't expect. Then, of course, there was the bottle twist after Rebecca was voted out, and the overpowered HII...and the switch to a F3 for the first time ever. Like him or not, Ozzy had the best shot of winning had there been a F2.

Like him or not, Ozzy had the best shot of winning had there been a F2.it didn't guarantee him F3...it was a one time play...of course Raro would have had to sacrifice somebody to get rid of Yul's idol, but they easily could have gone to Yul and told him they were gonna vote for him so he should vote their low man on the totem pole out...then they would have a working relationship with Yul...they actually gave Yul a free ride to the F3 by not flushing out his idol...so your alternatives to sacrificing a member of the Raro alliance is Yul gets a free ride to F3, its not his fault that the Raro's didn't understand this...
